Fantastic Smartwatch with Great Features and Comfortable Fit
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, and it has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine. The watch feels solid and wellโbuilt, with a premium finish that looks good both during workouts and in more casual or professional settings. The display is bright and clear, making it easy to read notifications, health metrics, and apps at a glance. Performance has been smooth. I havenโt experienced any lag when switching between apps or tracking activities. The fitness and health tracking features are comprehensive and reliable, from heart rate monitoring to sleep tracking, and the automatic workout detection works well. Battery life is better than I expected. With typical use, Iโm getting through most of the day comfortably and often into the next before needing a recharge. The interface is intuitive, and pairing with my Samsung phone was quick and seamless. Overall, the Galaxy Watch 8 delivers excellent performance, useful features, and comfortable allโday wear. Itโs a great option if you want a versatile smartwatch that handles both fitness tracking and everyday smart features with ease.

Great watch
I am thoroughly enjoying the watch. I upgraded from a Fitbit 3. I went back and fourth between this and the Oura ring and a newer fitbit. After enough research I decided this was a better choice. It was more expensive than the fitbit, but cheaper than the Oura ring, which also requires a subscription for most of it's features. The health features on this are pretty equivalent to what my Fitbit 3 had, but it had a few more like the ECG feature that the fitbit did not have. The screen is nice and bright and easy to read. I also like being able to adjust the watch face. I have a few I've checked out. The only downside is the battery life. I don't run alot on mine, but still need to charge it like every 24 hours or so.

Nice watch! Does everything I need and more.
Upgraded from an older Galaxy watch to this one. Love the slim watch face. Thought i would miss the physical rotating bezel but I don't, quickly got use to the virtual/touch bezel. Also, the newer watch software supports many more apps that are on my phone, like security camera systems. I don't turn on the "always on" display because it can be distracting to me and others, especially in low light situations. Using the "auto on" setting (like when you raise your arm to look at your watch, last 2-3 days. Also, the watch charges quickly.

Great value for money
Great watch! I bought this to my wife for Christmas and she loves it. She had no issues with it so far and everything is running smoothly. My wife has thinner wrists, so the size 40mm fits her perfectly and isn't too bulky.

First Smart watch ever and a good choice
This is my first smart watch and I'm happy with the purchase. I wear watches all the time and have a variety from Omega to Casio. I rarely wear the expensive watches and usually go with functional like my Casio. However the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 just superseded all my other watches. There is so much data available to use. At a glance I know the weather, time in Singapore, if I'm on track to meet my steps goal, etc. I like the Samsung health app and used it before I ever had the phone but the phone makes it next level. It can track my sleep too and I can enter additional bio data. It's helping me lose weight and keep on track with my activity goals. I like that you can change the watch faces based on your needs and activities. There's limited fee watch faces and you can purchase more. Some cons - The sleep sensor is automatic only. You cannot edit to change the time of when you started to sleep. Mainly because it has a lag between an hour or more before it detects that you are asleep. Same with automatically detecting workouts. Most times it doesn't or starts after a lengthy period of time. At least those you can manually edit but it won't sync with tracking your heartbeat etc. A couple of times it stopped tracking because it thought I had fallen. I do martial arts, so the sensors seem to think I have fallen. Hopefully a firmware update fixes these issues. In general I like the smart watch but some deficiencies keep it from being close to perfect.

Exactly what I needed.
Pros. Easy fast setup. Readings seem fairly accurate. Big, easy to read screen. Lots of watch faces to choose from. Everything just works. Paired with S25Ultra. Battery life seems very good after a couple full days of use. Ai assistant is great. Cons. Not uncomfortable, but not as compassionate I'd hoped. Not a deal breaker. But will take some getting used to. The story. So I'll be 50 this summer and I work a labor intensive job 12-14 a day. Wanted a "fitness" watch so I could monitor my heart rate etc. Picked up a FitBit versa 4. It was very comfortable. Very comfortable. But the heart rate monitor was all over the place, registering a resting HR of 53, then suddenly 120, then 85. It was just sll over the place. Shame because it was unbelievably comfortable and had outstanding battery life. Returned it and after a lot of research, order the galaxy watch 8. Kinda wish I got the 40 instead of 44. It is a bit big, and I feel that. I'm sure I'll get used to it. No deal breakers here. Just gotta get used to it. Battery: I've read reviews stating the battery life isn't great. Not sure why they say that. I've used it a couple days now and I use about 20% battery in a day. I don't have always on display on, as I don't look at my wrist constantly. So it lighting up when I turn my wrist is just what I want. I have heart rate monitoring, steps being counted, i scroll over to check weather. Use the ai Gemini to set timers etc. Even when the watch did an update in the middle of a day, the watch only used 20% battery that day. So I'd say battery life is very good. I'm nor comparing to other watches as I haven't used one in years aside from the fitbit I returned for this. For the extra cost, and extra size... you do get great app integration with galaxy phone . Better than my experience with fitbit. Also readings seem more accurate all around. All around I'd say this is a great buy and a lot of value for the $. -note: I'm not knocking the fitbit versa 4. I believe I received a defective unit. But chose this for the health app integration with my phone and better native Samsung/android app integration and ai assistant.

Great watch by Samsung.
There are a plethora of bands to choose from. I chose a metal band that fits perfectly and upgrades the look. Excellent quality, fast and easily customizable. The touch screen is easy to use, and if you use the watch for your workout routine, it has all the tracking that you need, from heart rate and cardio. You can also track your sleep.

Samsung watch 8
Love this watch! This product is thinner than the watch I had years ago. Samsung is a great company and I own a fair amount of their products. The fit is on target, the HR monitor is fairly correct. Setting this up to what you want is easily done. But, come on Samsung, you need to step up your game and make the battery longevity better. Ive had a Amazfit that lasted 1-1/2 to 2 weeks over your watches. I love the color and simplicity of the design. The watch is durable. There's a lot of apps on this watch in conjunction with my S25 phone. Like I mentioned above, I love this watch just wish it had a longer lasting battery.

It's ok
Functions and apps are great and help a lot. The down side is battery life. If you u have a busy day with lots of messages, the battery doesn't last a day. I bought a cheap one from China previously and it would last 3 days before requiring charge.
