My 2001 Gator suddenly refused to start. A review of the issue determined a bad starter relay. Since these are permanently affixed to the starter, it was a matter of buying a discrete relay, mounting it to the chassis and running appropriate wiring, or purchasing a new assembly. The dealer wanted over $200 for the assembly, so I turned to Amazon. I found this replacement at a good price, purchased, and installed it. Gator starts and runs perfectly. I am very satisfied with this choice as it made for a quick, easy repair, and quality is good.

The starter itself bolted right up and worked like it should. Looked nice new and clean. Packing was kinda confusing. A box inside a bigger box with flat plastic padding that served no purpose. The shipping was something new I hope never happens again. It shipped ups then turned over to the post office. I’m in a small town and ups is actually closer than the P.O. and the P.O. don’t deliver it to my house. If it doesn’t fit in the mailbox I gotta go fetch it. So Friday I get a paper saying I can pick it up Saturday morning. Well I work Saturday and had to run Monday. Just a lot of rigmarole for nothing. Everything else I ordered the same day arrived three days earlier

This company is a complete joke we have a small lawn care and they have cost us weeks of work trying to get the issue mixed was a hassle I would not order from this company period

I needed a starter for my John deere gator 6x4. The gator is a late 90’s model with a Kawasaki engine . I usually buy auto parts from ebay. I thought i’d give amazon a try. I also priced the starter with a certified hohn deere dealer. They wanted close to $300 dollars. This starter was brand new and has worked flawlessly. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Perfect replacement for the original starter on my 2004 John Deere Gator HPX 4x4 (w/ Kawasaki FD620D gas engine). Relatively easy install and this thing really cranks. I doubt this will last as long as the original OEM starter lasted, but we'll see if this can stand the test of time.

The starter and a new ignition switch fixed a chronic problem with the occasional click you can get when you crank it.

This was a perfect fit for the Kawasaki FD620D on a John Deere 425. As the picture shows it includes both the starter and the solenoid. John Deere price was $567. Had no choice but to go aftermarket. Been working so far after 4 weeks. Hopefully will keep going.
