Calico Critters Town Dress up Set (Blue & Green) for 36 months to 96 months

A must have accessory for the Town Series Grand Department Store! What I love about Calico Critters is the many varieties of accessory sets so that you can take the starter sets and amp them up, customizing your collection in all sorts of ways.We purchased the Grand Department Store Gift Set which included the bonus of the four little department store furnishing sets, which are also sold individually.One of the sets, The Town Boutique Fashion Set, includes a hanging rack with 3 ornate hangers and a dress form and two really pretty dresses. After putting one dress on the dress form to display and hanging the other on the rack, we decided to go all out and pick up this set too, so the bonus hangers didn't have to hang empty. What a great decision. The rack looks really full and extra luxurious now and the dresses are gorgeous.This is also a great way to get replacement clothes if you have any critters who have lost theirs and are standing around your critter village blushing in their birthday suits.I recently priced getting some replacement clothes from a seller who makes custom Calico Critters outfits. Just ONE dress of this quality was around $10 plus, not including shipping. Turns out sewing doll clothes of such tiny size is highly labor intensive as they mostly have to be hand sewn. I've tried sewing replacement dresses with easier to work with fabrics such as cotton (satin like these is too advanced). They come out OK but I do a lot of it with fabric glue because hand sewing so many tiny stitches is not my thing and it still takes way too many hours just to come up with one dress.So I'm delighted to get not one, but two of these top quality tiny doll dresses in this set, and for such a bargain price!

These dresses are even cuter in person.I ordered this package of 2 Calico Critters dresses, one for mother and one daughter/sister.They fit Calico Critters or Sylvanian Families flocked dolls well and seem to be of the same high quality as the clothing the dolls originally come dressed in.As I just got them, I cannot speak to longevity, but they seem like they will hold up well to being put on and taken off. Younger children may need help, but they definitely go on and come off easier than a lot of fashion doll clothes.

Dawn the Persian loved it, she was quite amazed by her dark blue elegant evening dress. She never want to wear her original house dress again. The silk cat seems like her green satin dress too.

The colors are vibrant & they are well put together.

My four-year-old quickly determined these dresses were for a queen and princess. We are so happy with this product!

The little Calico Critter outfits are cute. My daughter was gifted a giant dollhouse with Calico Critters and some of them were missing outfits so we just got replacements.

The blue dress didnt fit ,too big for the daughter, and didnt want to close for the mom. The yellow fit fine.

Cute addition to the Critters wardrobe. Wish they had more pant outfits to choose from instead of so many dresses.
