Small Wooden Treasure Chests, 3-Size Set of Decorative Storage Boxes with Hand-Carved Floral Motifs, Antique Style

I bought these boxes as one of our Grandson’s birthday presents. He will be 7yrs old in May. We are going to play a game to find the hidden treasure. Then he can put the treasures in his boxes. I liked them so much, that I bought myself some. They are well made at a good price

Love these - the fastening works well but is easy for a child to open and close. The quality is good and, to a youngster, they look old enough to be 'real' treasure chests.

Bought for grandchildren as a "stocking filler" to put their "treasure" into. Had noted previous criticism about mould and dirty: maker had resolved both issues with silica gel pack inside each of 4 boxes, each was very clean

They are small. See pictures attached, the whole set next to an A4 notebook.If you are buying it for decorative purpose then fine but I ordered these for my daughter to play with. They will not last long so!

My daughter who is 7 wanted these so bad. Well she wanted 1 to put her post it notes in. She was so happy when Santa gave her 3. They are so much sturdier and the quality better than I thought. These are lovely to pop things in to keep safe.

Ich war skeptisch aufgrund des Preises, aber wie so oft freue ich mich wenn die Skepsis unbegründet ist.Die Truhen sind sehr detailliert, von guter bzw hervorragender Qualität und für meine Zwecke hervorragend geeignet. Wie diesen bei mir als Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für besondere Stücke und damit alles schon aufgeräumt ist. Somit hab ich nette Akzente in meiner Wohnung gesetzt.Nin mehr als Happy und würde sie auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen

De kistjes zien er mooi uit. De kleinste is wat mij betreft wat te klein, maar alles komt wel overeen met de omschrijving. De bodem van het middelste kistje kwam er zowat meteen af, de bodems zijn erg dun (veel dunner dan alle andere zijdes) en slecht bevestigd. Ik kon ze wel met een paar spijkers vastmaken. Ik zou deze al met al niet aanraden.

They can be wonderful containers for any small gifts that you think your recipient might want to keep in a box, such as essential oils, incense, jewelry, teas, seashells, et cetera. And, of course, gold coins for your pirate treasure hunt! But not good for a silk scarf that could snag on the wood, nor for edibles that might absorb chemicals from the varnish.The color and decoration looks just like the photo. When you look inside, you can see that the walls are sturdy, maybe 1/4-inch plywood with a smooth face, like birch or pine. All surfaces are stained and varnished, inside and out, even the bottom! These mini-chests should hold up for a long time, as long as you don’t drop them often or get them wet.About the craftsmanship. . . They appear to have been made quickly, by hand, and with irregularities (I deducted a star), such as small gaps, or uneven staining and varnish. Some details look glued on, but most are attached with tiny brads. The catches are screwed on, and the bottoms are stapled into the sides with long staples. That’s the least attractive detail, but you only notice if you turn them over.But they are charming, and exactly what I needed. I use the largest box (see the photos) for essential oils—2oz., 1oz., and and smaller bottles. The medium one holds stuff by my bed (sprays, eye drops). The smallest one is very small, but can hold a few sets of earrings and pendants or chains.
