A well made product.I used 2 of these to make a dim bulb power supply for my test bench.

This was packaged rather poorly, and one came damaged (bought 2 of these). They are GLAZED on the outside, NOT unglazed as advertised (but maybe unglazed means the interior where the bulb socket is inserted? Buler?) The chipped corner I got was a result of being packed too loosely. One socket clearly smashed into the other while shipping. It did not affect the functionality of the product, but I suppose if you were in need of an aesthetic look, then the chip I received on one would be subjected to a return.

used as replacement for pool light. tricky part was getting out all the epoxy that leaked inside the bulb contact area...after a couple of hours of picking and filing I was able to get the bulb screwed in and everything worked out great. instead of buying a new fixture for $200 this along with epoxy saved me about $150 (epoxy costing about $40 at local electronics store)

It's a simple product and does what it's supposed to do. I used it to house a LIFX bulb in a columnar light fixture that wasn't much wider than the standard bulb it housed. This fit the bill perfectly.

I used this light base inside of my incubator for light. It has worked fine so far. I wish that the wire terminals had been under the base of the light.
