Stays tacky and feels waxy
Let's just say that the jury's still out on whether this Alpine White Brightening Hand Cream will fade the dark sunspots on the back of my hands over time or not. That isn't something that may happen quickly, so I plan to use this daily until the entire tube is gone to find out. As for how it feels otherwise, I'm not very happy with it so far. After applying a small amount, it takes a lot of massaging to get it to absorb (kind of). After rubbing to the point that there's nothing left to rub it remains tacky to the touch (and that doesn't decrease over time). It also gives a high sheen to my skin and feels like my skin has a waxy coating. I can tolerate that on the back of my hands and arms, but not on my palms, so I have to carefully wash this off of my palms while still trying to leave it on the back of my hands. On the plus side it does contain ingredients that provide some photoprotection against UVB rays, although I plan to use sunscreen still in addition when gardening outside for any length of time. Time will tell whether this reduces dark spots or not but given the high price I'm not convinced it's worth it at this point.

Omg! I’m hooked! Swiss proud!
I’m hooked on this product and I am venturing out to purchase other products made by skincode. After applying this on my hands it didn’t leave a wet feeling like other moisturizer’s do. It appears to just “sink into” your skin and repairs it. Super smooth and I love this!

Nice Moisturizer But No Reduction Of Age Spots Yet
As I’ve aged, I have noticed more age spots on my arms and was hoping for a nice cream to help reduce or eliminate those spots. And when I saw this cream, I thought I’d try it out. And although I haven’t noticed any difference, it still makes for a nice cream to use on your skin for hydration. The cream is a thick, white substance and the packaging says it is “fragrance free”. This is incorrect, however, as it has a very strong scent. Not a bad one but pungent. My skin does feel softer after using the cream but I have seen no difference in the age spots on my arms. That will probably take time, is my assumption. And even if there is no change to the spots on my arms, the cream still absorbs and moisturizes my skin well. The only thing I didn’t care for with this product is its price. At the cost of $32.00 for a 2.5-ounce tube, that’s a pretty costly cream. Granted, there are a lot of creams out there at various prices – both higher and lower – but I still find it difficult to pay so much for a cream.I would recommend this item as a nice moisturizer but because of its cost and no results have been seen yet, it’s hard to give it more than 3 stars.

No noticeable lightening/brightening, but I am a frequent hand washer
This Skincode Essentials Alpine White Brightening Hand Cream was available to me through the Amazon Vine program. I am middle aged, and my hands show my age more than any other skin on me. I purchased this hand cream a few weeks ago, but have yet to notice any improvement in my skin’s appearance. I understand it could take longer than a few weeks. However, upon using it, I became aware of just how often I wash my hands (more so now since COVID began, plus during the night after bathroom use). Therefore, the lightening ingredients in this product may not have an opportunity to work as intended because the cream never really stays on for an extended length of time. There is no information provided as far as how much/how often to apply nor how long it will take to start seeing results. As a hand lotion, it works nicely to help moisturize skin, but it certainly is not worth its current price of $32 for this small 75 ml (2.5 fl oz) squeeze bottle to me. This hand cream is made in Switzerland.

Decent Hand Cream But Not My Favorite
This hand cream is medium-weight and is slightly scented. To me it smells a little like school glue but it’s not strong and doesn’t linger.Niacinamide is known to be a skin brightener but so far I’m not seeing much for results yet. Hopefully with increased use, I will see improvement in the dark spots on the back of my hands. The problem is that I have a hard time keeping this hand cream on for long because it feels sticky on my palms, not a feeling I particularly like. I don’t mind that feeling on the back of my hands but when it’s on my palms, it makes them feel grimy. I try to carefully wash only my palms after rubbing this cream in but it’s rather inconvenient. It seems pricey for a small tube of hand cream that really only has a couple of anti-aging ingredients.Overall, it’s decent if you are willing to put up with sticky palms. If I notice significant brightening and fading of my spots over time, I will update this review.

Slight sticky/tacky texture; ointment-like scent
Item: "Skincode Essentials Alpine White Brightening Hand Cream, 75 ml"~I got this mostly for the "hand cream" part and not so much for the "brightening" part, though I have a couple of new-ish small freckles on my hands that I wouldn't mind losing (one of them keeps making me think I have a spot of dirt or marker there, since I'm not used to it).As a hand lotion, it's not that great. When I first put it on, it has a kind of tacky texture that I don't care for - I like my lotions to leave my hands feeling just a little slippery, since that helps a lot to mitigate my texture sensitivities when touching stuff. Once it absorbs, the tacky texture somehow manages to linger (and eventually makes me feel like I want to wash my hands) while also leaving my hands feeling dry, or uncoated, or something. So it doesn't really help me with what I need hand lotion to do.It has an ointment-like scent, though I can't smell it unless I put my hands up near my nose. It doesn't bother me, and it doesn't linger after I'm done putting it on.For now I'm giving it 3/5, but if it fades out the annoying freckle that looks like a dirt speck, then I'll come back and bump it up.
