These locks are a great way to add protection to your home while you are inside. They are heavy duty. require 800 pounds of force to open the door. They are easy to install and takes less than 2 minutes with a cordless drill. They keep the doors tight and secure. I have multiple exits in my home on different levels and it gives me peace of mind knowing no one can get into my home. Even with deadbolt locks on your home with these installed the doors can not be opened. Highly recommend especially for anyone with a two story home and wants added security.

These install in a minute or two. Once you install one the rest are easy. Some doors have more space higher or lower betweenthe door and the door frame, so make sure you install in a locating that closing the door won't come in contact with the security lock. I just held the lock in place best i could and opened and closed the door. In my case I didn't want to chisel any wood away to make the lock touch the door, so my locks are not all installed at the same height. The lock is only a quarter inch from touching the door. I think it'll function at keeping someone out just fine. These are not as heavy or built as good as the one lock i purchased locally, but I think they will work as intended. Good price and I feel much more secure. Also these are great for keeping your toddler from opening the door as they learn to unlock doors. I have the lever style knobs and didn't want to buy the lever style baby proof as they look awful.

Purchased these door locks for a little extra peace of mind and protection. When in the closed/locked position the door is as solid and secured as you can possibly get. Installation was straightforward and took about 5 minutes per door. Definitely a great investment for extra security and protection.

Work well. Easy to install and work simply. Will not pop off easily and also doesn’t seem to ever lock on accident. I was a little concerned I could lock myself out but you have to intentionally lock it down.
