This is the second pair I have purchased, as I initially thought the problems with the first pair might have been a one-off issue. Unfortunately, the same thing has happened again. With the first pair, after about two months of use, I began experiencing foot pain. When I inspected the trainers more closely, I noticed that the tread on the sole had already worn down significantly and the insole had completely collapsed. I decided to give the brand another chance and bought a second pair, but after only about six weeks the same problems have started appearing again. For context, I walk roughly 200 miles a month, so the trainers are used regularly but not in any extreme conditions. Given the price and the reputation of the brand, I would have expected them to last significantly longer than this. Columbia is my teen son’s favorite shoes brand for comfort and durability. He has a wide foot and other name brands hurt his feet. He also loves the extra grip on the soles, he is a multi sport athlete, very active , hard on shoes guy and these shoes keep up with him. This is the first time he has worn this specific model but has been happy so far.
