Conn Bach King Valve Rotor Rubber Bumper Stop French Horn Trombone Tuba Set of 2

There's really not much to say about these except to say that they fit my Elkhart vintage Conn 88-H trombone perfectly. I didn't even need to trim them for the rotor index marks to line up. The price seems a bit excessive for two tiny pieces of neoprene but the purchase was convenient. I'm glad I got 'em.

I had to shave it down a bit for my Conn 9D but it works.

This is one of those very specialized items that when you need one , there isn't a substitute . Over time , these tend to compress some and can cause the valve not to properly align , causing a stuffy or faulty tone.And if one should pop out and you lose it , about the only thing that might work is a piece of wooden doweling ---which would not cushion as well or be as quiet. Like valve string (if your model works with string ) it's good to have these items on hand just in case.

Fits, it’s just obscene how expensive it is.
