Camco 44105 RV Adjustable Fridge Door Block, Blue

We have purchased several RV fridge door blocks in the past and were very disappointed. None of them work as advertised. However, this one is great. It easily allows you to setup and keep your RV fridge doors slightly open to allow airflow inside and prevent mold from occurring. I would recommend this to all my friends and family who have RVs.

This works well when the trailer is stored/not moving only.

This is designed for a two door fridge. We have a smaller (one compartment) fridge with a small internal freezer so it doesn't work "perfectly". It is workable, but its really designed for the larger units.

This is fine for while you are parked, but I wouldn’t trust it while driving. The magnet is almost strong enough but the disk and string move and slips between doors easily so they are not secure.

The device is easy enough to use, and the magnet does stay on. However the does can and will slide past the outer piece, I am going to use a bit of velcro to hold in place, and if that works as expected there will be no update necessary. I am giving it 3 stars because in order to work to its fullest potential You will need to do a bit of modification.

It seems like nice product but make sure that the spacing between your refrigerator and freezer doors is around 1” or less. The outer piece on the door prop is 1-3/4” in diameter. The spacing on my unit is 1-7/8” so the outer part of the prop passes between the doors thus the doors are not held in place.

This is just what I what after. Our RV fridge doesn't have those little things you can stick on the tabs (different design) so finding that was a good alternative. At first I thought the magnets had no strength but it turned out our fridge's outer edge was lacking metal this could stick to! So I bought a small package of stick on metal plates and put one of those where I needed and this is working great. I like how you don't have to have the door open 3-5 inches... this lets me have it cracked open about an inch and the doors aren't in the way as you pass by. Great product.Forgot to mention that the round part was not large enough to grab the doors. I used a bracket from a ceiling fan mount to give it that extra grab and this works perfectly
