Giannini Giannina La Tradizione Espresso Coffee Maker - Suitable for Induction - 3/1 Cup

The only thing I don’t like is that it is both a one cup and a three cup. I was trying to replace a smaller one cup. This item is much more substantial than the single cup one that I bought in Italy a few years ago.

I’ve had mine for four years and I love it so much. It makes delicious coffee, very similar to true espresso. Use good beans and freshly grind them. The person who said it makes bitter coffee doesn’t know how to brew properly, doesn’t actually like espresso, or used bad beans.

I am the proud owner of one of this little miracle machines. Expresso making has been in my family for many generations and when I saw it was like love at first sight. Really! It is built for eternity and it gets cleaned really fast, apart to make some incredible tasting expresso. Did I say it is Made In Italy?, It is all heavy duty stainless steel and the bottom wont bend due to heat and pressure, all in all, I wish I had discovered them long ago. Thanks God for the Italians!

Product is very well made but makes bitter coffee. I followed all instructions. Made five pots of coffee, discarded and cleaned pot well. Still makes bitter coffee. Watched a video (could not find one for this company) how to make coffee in mocha pot. Still bitter. It does work on induction.

The basket and filter turned black and no amount of washing changed that. Clearly not genuine stainless steel. Inside water well stains and very difficult to clean. i complained but was told it was stainless but not polished. Bialetti cheaper and tasted better.

If I clean this machine regularly, it makes good espresso coffee. The main problem is that it leaks when pouring. I have changed the gasket several times, but the leaks continue.

Very well made and easy to use and clean. Will buy a larger version.

basta solo scartarla e se ne percepisce la grandissima qualità e cura costruttiva. Bella, pesante, un design che coniuga perfettamente bellezza e praticità. E che caffè... un Signor caffè!

Es la versión mejorada y corregida de la clásica moka bialetti, mi placa de inducción no la detecta porque la base es demasiado pequeña pero no importa porque puedo poner igualmente la potencia y funciona perfectamente

Really pleased with this item - so much more solid than the aluminium ones I've been using for years! Love the open/close mechanism - very clever.

So, ich habe jetzt die Kanne und kann bestätigen: für EINE Tasse geeignet. Macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck und vor allem: kein Alu mehr. Das fand ich an meiner alten Kanne doch ziemlich widerlich. Immer diese Ablagerungen/Korrosionen und was man da mit der Zeit an Alu in sich reinschüttet...Ich stelle das Unterteil auf den Herd und lasse das Wasser erst aufkochen. Erst dann setze ich das Sieb ein und klinke das Oberteil ein. Das geht nur mit dieser Mechanik, weil man das Unterteil jetzt nicht mehr anfassen kann. Auf diese Weise wird die Erhitzung des Kaffeepulvers minimiert.
