This is a perfect first jewelry box for a 3-5 year old girl. It's small, but just the right size for a little one. Needs to be handled with careful hands (not for a toddler) and perfect for teaching little girls responsibility for precious items and as a special keepsake box. The print is adorable and the little princess that turns to the music is quite sweet. Great price, will definitely buy again as a gift.

I was so excited when I found a jewellery box that played Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from the Nutcracker ballet by Tchaikovsky which my daughter loves. The box arrived, and though it is very cute, the song has music notes in the wrong order and music notes completely missing (not to mention out of rhythm) so that the song sounds almost NOTHING like it should. If I could have returned this before her birthday I would have, but there was not enough time. For the price of this box, I expected better.

I use to have a similar jewelry box as a child and wanted to get my daughter one for her 6th birthday. She absolutely loves it! It's an inexpensive nice little jewelry box for a young girl. I want to eventually get her a really nice "more adult" jewelry box in a few years and this one is perfect to teach her how to take care of it.
