28% faster to boil in my test
It was time for a new stockpot, because the handles were disintegrating, so I decided to give this one a try but also wanted to see whether I could measure the difference (I suspected I could, because I understand the principle). I tested the old against the new, both with eight cups of water from the tap (cold). The old pot took 9 minutes, 11 seconds on my gas range to start a rolling boil, this one took 6 minutes, 34 seconds. That's a notable improvement, and also saves energy as a result. I'd call that a win for sure!

This thing really works well
I was skeptical, but it is now pretty much the only pot we use on our gas stove.

So fast to heat up! I am so tired of waiting ages for pots to warm up so I can start cooking. This pot is also bigger than my other pots, so now we can cook more goodness, for my hungry tummy and family! In this stockpot, my lovely wife cooked up a week's worth of hot and sour soup, which we then finished over the next 24 hours!

Really does what it claims - I have done side by side comparisons, and this pot really does come to a boil faster than flat-bottomed pans. I use it for boiling the water to make pasta - large volume of water required, and used to take forever until I bought this pot.

Heats really fast!
Unbelievably fast to heat up. I use it to cook pasta takes about a third of the time that my old pot did. Plus really looks cool.

Good looking
I need a lot to boil water fast. This one doesn’t do that. Looks great though so it gets a five for that but since it heats up like a rick I give it a one. So three it is.

Cooks beans quicker.
My green, pinto and navy beans were done an hour quicker than in a normal cooking pot.
