I really like this toothpaste. It doesn't have a bad taste at all, it is surprisingly minty.It is a bit chalky after rinsing with water, but overall it leaves my teeth feeling squeaky clean!I use this at night time since it doesn't say anything about protecting against cavities, so I use my regular toothpaste in the morning.I have noticed that my teeth are a bit whiter, after a couple uses already. (Heavy coffee drinker)I will continue to use, and so far no teeth sensitivity issues. I appreciate the natural aspect of this product (charcoal), rather than using a harmful chemical to whiten my teeth as well.It isn't messy at all, so it's a better option than the powder-form.Thumbs up! Will use my first tube to get a full experience.If you're looking for a slight improvement in whitening, it is definitely a slow, but gentle process. I recommend!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This stuff HURTS!!! Not only was the tube obnoxiously small, but after using once a day for just 3 days the pain my teeth and gums endured was so bad it woke me up in the middle of the night and could barely fall back asleep it hurt so bad! I last used the toothpaste about 14 hours ago and my teeth still throb so badly I can barely eat or drink because it is so uncomfortable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Even if it doesn't hurt your teeth like it did mine, the size of this tube is so not worth the money. Also, I don't understand how this crap is actually supposed to whiten your teeth when it suds up into a light gray color instead of black. Going back to my REAL activated charcoal powder. Horrible experience!!!

MY family was torn on this toothpaste. While we all agreed that it is effective as a toothpaste and leaves your teeth feeling really clean, the tube is really small like a trial size toothpaste. My son was a little bothered that this doesn’t stay black while brushing because he actually enjoys brushing his teeth with activated charcoal that stays black while you brush. I know some people couldn’t get over having balck teeth so this would be great for them. It does work well and gets the job done. I’ve always just bought the cheapest toothpaste I could find so it was nice to find that you get what you pay for and for a bit more money you get a lot more teeth cleaning.

I love your product!!!! I was skeptical at first when my friend gave me as gift because of the black color, but she promised me I would love it if I tried it, so I did. And she was right. I can't even believe what a difference it's made and my hygienist agrees. Actually removed all stains and whitened my teeth some, and the taste is great.I got over my trepidation over the black color very quickly. It foams nicely in the mouth and washes/rinses away great. I tried other charcoal toothpastes I found in TJ Maxx & Marshalls, and there is absolutely no comparison, they tasted awful, were gritty and nothing like Dental Expert's Charcoal toothpaste. This is best toothpaste I've ever used and I am a customer for life.This works, everyone needs to try this toothpaste, they will love it.

As a daily coffee drinker, I wanted to try charcoal on my teeth to help eliminate coffee stains. I was going back and forth between the charcoal powder and the less expensive charcoal toothpaste. I ultimately decided on the toothpaste version because it was cheaper. I will say that it does work, but not as well as I’d hoped. I’ve used the toothpaste a few times per week for the past two months and although there is less staining, my teeth didn’t really get any whiter. I will most likely finish off this tube that I have and order the powder next time.

I wanted to Like this product, and I really wanted it to work, but it didn't do a single thing it promised. First of all the tube was small, and way overpriced for $8.99 when I bought it. It's 0.7 FLUID OUNCES, so it's more of a travel size tube, for $8+. Not worth it. It promised to whiten your teeth, and I use it once every other day. I still don't have whiter teeth, not even a shade lighter and I've used it for about 2 weeks. it also promises to get rid of bad breath, which it doesn't. The only reason why it's not getting 1 star is because I actually like the mint flavor. It's subtle and not overpowering. But I will not be wasting my money again.

This is a wonderful product. I have several autoimmune diseases which require me to use an organic toothpaste. I thought I would try this one as it had a whitening benefit. I just received the product today and used it immediately. I was very impressed by the fact that I could tell a difference in the appearance of my teeth from just one use and the taste was very minty and fresh. I will definitely order this product again. It is pricey but I feel it's well worth it.

The box the toothpaste arrived in was a bit beat up. However the tube of toothpaste had a foil seal over it. I noticed the ingredients are listed on the box the paste arrived in but is not listed on the tube itself. The box indicates the paste is made in China. Product comes out black, which is what I expected. However it turns to a light grey color in my mouth and when I spit it out it looks like white foam with bits of grey. There is no way real charcoal would turn from black to white. My teeth feel clean after using the product. The taste is fine. I don't believe this product uses real charcoal. I believe this is just black colored toothpaste without any charcoal. Into the garbage it goes.
