It's gold, and it's a tunnel.
Decided to go gold to match my septum and lip, so ordered one of these, quick delivery and good product for the price, threads are okay but can't see them lasting a huge length of time if you take them out everyday like I do for boring old work, but I'm a fussy engineering person that hates most things so they're probably a lot better.

Decent metal as well as colouring but the screw flange needs to be bigger for the back
