This is an excellent book. I am in the process of rebuilding my dirt bike engine and find the instruction to be clearly written, expertly developed, and paced as though he was standing next to me while I work through the tear down, inspection and rebuild phases. I have never attempted anything even remotely like an engine rebuild. However, this book provides the expert instruction needed to pull it off. My confidence in returning the engine to perfect condition is 100%, well, maybe 99%, but that's a reflection of my mechanical abilities, not the book.I have even had the opportunity to tech a few things to experienced engineer builders. So read this book even if you think you know this stuff. I am certain you will enjoy it.

Haven’t read more than a couple chapters but I love this book. Explains it well for anyone who at least knows how to use some tools. Well written.
