Morfone 10 Pack Lavalier Microphone Windscreen Foam Cover Headset Lapel Mic Mini Windscreen Cover

These windscreen covers always need replacement on occasion and for a pack of 10 its so economical. If Your a Videographer use Lavalier Microphones like these, they are good to have in your Camera bag.

At first I was a bit surprised it doesn't slide all the way in. There's a collar that it doesn't quite reach. See photo. Figured it might just be my brand/style/model of lavalier mic head. But apparently, the extra foam at the tip really helps block out unwanted noise, not just wind noise, like from computer speakers sitting just four feet away. It's perfect so far. Very happy. Outdoors to be tested later.

After looking very carefully at my lavaliere mics I now see that I have 3 different mic sizes. Diameter and length are different so look carefully at the Amazon offerings. I bought these with the smallest diameter hole and they fit one of my Rode and my Sennheiser mics. They do not fit my Movo or Boya mics. They require a larger hole for both diameter and length.

We are always losing the foam windscreen mic covers on our walkie talkie boom mics. These work great.

These are a little smaller than the original on my lav mic. However they fit much better actually. Glad there are so many. I won't have to worry about losing one.

VERY SMALL - does not fit a standard shure lapel. Ill take some error in ordering, but the word MINI should be at the top of the description, not the end.

I haven’t actually used this product in action yet, but I went and put it on my lav mic and it fits snug like a bug! I figured it being a 10 pack would make sense because I assumed they would be falling off all the time and I would lose them, but it wasn’t hard to get this one on, but it also sits very tightly on the microphone. Only time will tell, but I’m pretty sure I will be losing these with far less frequency and will wind up very happy. Great product.

On video shoots the actor often has their mic wire running under their shirt, either down the front or back of their body. When pulling out the wire and mic it's possible for a mic's original foam cover to fall off and get lost in the actor's clothing or on the ground. ..... On a multi-actor multi-mic video shoot, during lunch break one actor removed her mic and the original foam cover fell off and got lost in the grass. We didn't know this until lunch hour was over and we were ready to start shooting again. Wasted time searching in the grass for the lost foam cover. NEVER AGAIN! Thanks to low cost multi-packs like this Morfone 10-pack set, we never have to waste time on this again. I recommend that anyone shooting video to carry extra mic foam covers.
