Reliance Controls Corporation TRC1005C Indoor Transfer Panel

What an awesome circuit breaker panel but unfortunately my electrician said it would be far too much money to add that as a subpanel opposed to just getting a much larger box to handle my needs in my house. I will say it seems to be a well thought out panel with updated components and would serve anybody's purpose 100%. I would highly recommend even though I did not get to use it. It is too bad I had to return it because I really would have liked it in my house. Good luck !!!!

My home didn't have a main breaker switch and is full and I wanted to have a transfer switch for a generator. This box killed 3 birds with one stone. I was able to install it right next to the original breaker box in the house. This is convenient. Every thing works great and couldn't be ha. Only thing is shipping is slow, it took about 2 monthsto get it. I would recommend this product.

It was as expected and did everything I needed it to do. Does not break the neutral but not many do. I was pleased with the value and was able to use the circuits I deem critical. We have a 13000 watt generator and this matched up great.

Upon installation, we noticed that the bus assembly was only fastened at the top by a 6/32 hex head screw. We found another like screw loose in the panel. We figured that we could simply screw this in at the lower portion of the bus bar assembly, but no no no. This is where the STUPID comes in. The location where the bus bar screws into the enclosure is behind the steel panel where the meters and CTs reside. THIS ASSEMBLY IS RIVETED IN, so you can't get to it to simply screw the bus bar back into place. To put a screw as a fastener behind a permanent riveted assembly is just plain STUPID. To get the job done we took a screw drill bit and painstakingly threaded the screw back into the threaded hole behind the plate, then tightened it with needle nose pliers. Unless you can fix issues in the field and have time to lose on it, stay away from this product.

installed in workshop so I could connect a 50amp generator input. installed as subpanel to the main load center then moved desired circuits over to the transfer panel.

Well made and works as it should

Used this for a 9500rwh generator. Has plenty of knock outs and room to hook up 12-24 circuits.

Overall a good product.

Get panel to do emergency lights and some other essential circuit run of generator panel is excellent good quality and also have watt meters for generator side. Love it very good value .

product is sold in canada but is not ulc listed. this means it doesnt switch the white wire which is nesessary in canada.how they are even allowed to sell this in canada is a mystery.on the other hand it is a well made product the 100 amp on the power side allowes you to have most things on the panel, then selectively shut off what you can use intermitenly. for example, keep the hot water tank off but turn it on for an hour after supper to have hot water for bath time.
