Bought this to replace an iPhone case that held small neodymium magnets. Loved that the magnets had a strong pull and would hold my phone against the refrigerator while cooking in the kitchen. This one has a small plate inside that barely has a magnetic field. It was barely detectable against the blade of my pocket knife. One of the small magnets in my old case had a very strong pull. Not sure if manufacturers are worried about strong magnetic fields interfering with the phone’s functioning, but I never had any issues with the old case. Otherwise, this is a good slim case for the phone, but I feel like I overpaid since the magnetic function is not sufficient.

The magnetic part isn't super strong. It'll hold onto the magnet in my car but will fly off from time to time. I learned that if I "charge up" the magnet by rubbing the case on the magnet, it'll hold up better (science!).the case is thin but it protects my phone well so far. I have a glass screen protector and its the only thing that cracks when I drop my phone. I also use it with a wallet case. Only thing I don't like too much is that its slippery.

The case has been pretty good for what it was worth. It does the job of sticking on magnetic holders, but for some reason, a bit weak.I’m also concerned for the fabric finish in the inside of the case in the cases the phone gets wet. I would assume that the water would be easily trapped in there if the phone is dunked. This somewhat goes against the water resistant feature of the phone.

One of the things I always look for in a case is the bumper on front. If you have that, and ever drop your phone, its more protected. I do like having the metal in the back so I don't have to attach one (I have a magnetic phone holder in my car) but it does seem to add weight.

Fantastically slim and simple, yet it has a magnet that is strong enough to stay on my magnetic car mount through bumps and such. Exactly what I had been looking for. I wouldn’t necessarily suggest this as a “rugged” case though. Definitely slap a glass (screen) protector on, as well!

It’s perfect, nothing extra special. Needed the metal part to stick to my car when I need to look at Waze. It works well.

i've had this for almost a year. Awesome product. The magnet is great. It doesn't get any dirt. Very tight.

The magnet in this case is super strong. I live in a state that requires hands free driving and leave my phone on a vent device. My phone is firmly attached in this case. It’s an excellent invention.
