Ring Video Doorbell 2

it took me all of 15 minutes to install. everything i needed to install is included except the drill-even though my router is in the back of the house I get a great signal clear picture and instant notifications on my iphone.I bought the solar recharging plate from the ring website and it arrived within the week.great crisp picture!

So far it is working pretty well. Our wireless doorbell before was "fatigued" and would work occasionally. This works...Problem is, when the button is pushed, you only hear the "bell" if you have your phone in hand. So, since that isn't always the case in the house, we bought the booster with doorbell...First, it seems to be fairly hard to get set up and second the booster is a bit slower....so it rang after the cell phone chime. Once it went off after I had opened the door.We then moved it to a better location for the WiFi....which is in the bedroom.My husband had to put tape over the led light as it was too bright and kept him awake.Just moving it from the front hall to the bedroom meant it had to be all reset again! that requires unscrewing the cover and resetting the whole system!That is why we gave it 4 stars.Otherwise, we feel a bit safer.Suggestion to some, play with the motion range....ours at first saw every car that drove by .....We now seem to have it set better, so it only picks up what is happening in the driveway and by the door.Be prepared to take time in setting it up.Also, since we are not "hard wired" and only on battery.....set up will apparently have to be done all over when we have to charge it.

don't waste your time with these people. Horrible tech support.
