Excellent bike
I got this bike based on cost, features and the number of positive reviews. The bike arrived in a few days and was quick and easy to assemble using the tools supplied. The bike feels solidly built and is very stable when in use.Although ordered for myself, both my wife and eldest son have decided they want to use it, so altering the seat has become necessary as the families height varies between 5ft 2 and 5ft 10, although you can’t alter the handlebars, the seat can quickly be adjusted for both height and reach.I’ve read a few reviews that said how comfortable the seat is but at first I found the opposite and after 30 minutes my backside ached more than my legs but after a week of daily use I got used to it and is now acceptable. The 2.5kg flywheel is larger than many bikes of this type and makes using the bike a smooth and quiet affair.I was a little hesitant about choosing this bike based on some of the reviews saying that its highest resistant level was too low, however, speaking as somebody in there fifties and not very fit, (hence the reason I bought the bike) I have found 4 or 5 gives me a good cardio workout, with the higher settings quite capable of toning muscle and burning off some fat.I like the digital display with its built in stand, I tend to favour the pulse monitor, it can sometimes be temperamental but dampening the palm of my hands with a wet wipe to increase conductivity gets it working. Ive compared its readings to a finger monitor and its pretty accurate. The stand is a great idea, by placing my tablet on it I can follow a exercise program I’ve downloaded but I could just as easily play a game or use my E-reader while exercising. When I’m finished it easily folds up and stores nicely under the stairs. This is an excellent bike for the money, for people who are already super fit and take regular trips to the gym its probably not for them but for the rest of us who just want to get back into shape and reduce some of that belly fat its perfect. At the moment I cannot vouch for its long term reliability as I've only been using it a couple of weeks but if I find any problems as I work my way back to fitness I will let you know.

Great value and easy to assemble
Having read a number of reviews for 'Basic' exercise bikes, I plumped for this one.Although there are a few negative comments on how easy/difficult it is to put together, I found it pretty straightforward although the instructions supplied were pretty basic. Out of the box, the main frame assembly is all done, you only have to attach the two floor supports, handles, seat pad onto the seat adjustment plate, pedals and the digital read out/information display. It may sound a lot, but I had it all done within about 40 minutes - The only 'scratch' my head moment was one of the floor supports has a couple of little wheels, obviously to assist in moving it about when folded up - On the instructions supplied, you can't tell which support is which, so I fitted this one to the front - It made sense to me as when folded, it was easy to use the seat as a hold to move it around, but I think this is down to personal choice. Another point I did like, is that all the relevant bolts/washers etc were in situ so there was no having to work out which bolt went with which part which I have in the past found frustrating when putting things together. The clip that the monitor display fits into again was not very clear on the instructions, but it just simply slides onto it, not obvious, but again you can't go wrong as it will only slide on one way. The wires are easy to connect up as they have male/female clips, so just a matter of clicking together. It comes with the necessary spanner, allen/screwdriver key so no need to go hunting for tools! The bike itself when in use, is whisper quiet - I could very easily have watched TV etc while on it and felt very stable and sturdy - The monitor information was easy to see, though again the instructions for it are petty basic, and found pressing the mode button either allowed you to leave it on time/dist/pulse etc or you can have it set to scroll through all the varied readings every few seconds while using it. Although the instructions appeared to suggest you could set units between KM/MPH, I have not found a way to change the default of KM/KPH, but that is no real issue to me personally - As for the pulse rate setting, again how accurate it is I am not sure, but certainly after a few minutes the reading did start to increase, and when I was finishing by slowing my pedaling, again the rate did slowly start to reduce. I found the seat comfortable, and the height adjustment easy - I am 5'8" and my partner who is 5'6" and had to lower the seat both found it comfortable to use.As for the resistance - Well, this is why I only gave it 4* to be as honest as I can - If you are somebody like me, who is using it as an 'extra' bit of way of getting some exercise into a usual normal 'sedentary' lifestyle, it is very good and I should say, that I have a neuro/muscular condition which limits my mobility and found it ideal (Although I have only had it a couple of days, I have used it for over an hour!) - I moved it to setting 4 which I found gave me enough resistance to start with - However if you are someone who is a regular gym user/runner/exerciser, then I don't think you will find it much of challenge/workout even at the highest setting.Overall in my opinion this is an excellent piece of equipment for the price, sturdy and well put together and can recommend it!

Good value for money
These guys are brilliant! There was a gremlin somewhere and a few parts were missing from the original packaging but I didn't need to return the whole thing in the end - they sorted it all out quickly and sent the missing bits to me right away. They were very helpful and friendly and always got back to me quickly. The bike is really sturdy, is good value for money and definitely suits my needs. I'm a 60 year old couch potato and want to lose a bit of weight and feel healthier so this is doing the job perfectly. The monitor seems a little flimsy but it works well and does the job and the bike itself is very quiet. It's very easy to use and folds easily for storage and the seat is wide and comfortable.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and the service I received.

ottimo prodotto e rapporto qualità-prezzo
