Very suitable for my needs to elevate the washing line. However I couldn’t figure out how the extended pole fixed. Although a bit of super glue did the trick.

I thought this would be easier to use than the 'screw to loosed/tighten' variety of prop but it is certainly not. It is difficult to move the mechanism to alter the height - of which there are only three positions - not too bad fixing it in place though. The plastic ferrules pop off so easily and the prop seems to reject the clothes line on a regular basis. The method of connecting to the line is not good causing the prop to disengage and fall to the floor which throws the plastic ferrules off the main body. I can see I will have to modify the 'line end', stick the ferrules on and see if I can't make it easier to alter the height. All in all a complete failure, it simply doesn't work properly or easily without modifications. The steel square tubing is probably the best bit about it. Only one star from me...JC

Initially not that easy to assemble but OK now it is

Sturdy in construction, the little plastic clips that keep it together are a little flimsy and could be easily lost or broken-yet to be fully tested

Very sturdy and good quality. Would have liked the V where the line fits in to be less slippery to avoid it sliding.

Bought 2 as replacements for very old similar props that finally rusted away . Much lighter and smoother to slide than the old ones . I bought some rubber ferrules (1”) for the bottoms . If the props last as long as the others (15 years approx ) they will see my washing days out !

I have already used this product before and really liked it thats why I bought same product again these poles are very strong i love these ones. Brought one for my nabour too since she wanted one too would definatly recommend these
