To my surprise, it does grow more
Initially, I disliked the rather sawdust like texture, water sits on the surface rather than quickly being absorbed. In spring I experimented by potting on Hollyhock, Lupin, Lysimachia Ephemerum, Peppers, and Wallflower seedlings, half in Growmoor, half in Miracle Gro.I expected it to be trounced by Miracle Gro, and was all set to do a one star review. So I was amazed that apart from Wallflowers (no difference) the Growmoor plants did indeed grow more. Which proves the old saying you can't always judge a book by its cover.

Does the job
I asked my husband about this product and he said it does what it says on the pack. Came in good packaging and he would definitely use again

Not brilliant compost, not cheap
Ordered 8 of these only 7 arrived. After messaging back and forth and unfulfilled promises I had to get Amazon CS involved. Missing bag has now arrived, funnily enough. The bags arrived in black over bags, one can only assume it must be something to do with added protection through the courier network. They feel light and many others have commented on that fact. Calculating Mass that is compacted is tricky and one would think that a 60 litre bag would be heavy. "heavy" is subjective though, for some the 12.0 kilos that one of these weigh would seem heavy, for others not so much. I can lift one , with one hand. So I too was suspicious. I fluffed one bag up so there was no compaction. Measured W xD x H to get volume of 65.5 ltr . I compared it to a 60 Litre John Innes Multi purpose compost which for very similar dimensions came out at 65 litres and 12.75kg. So they probably are not "light" in terms of volume. All in all however I would not buy any of this product again, just too much aggravation to deal with them

Does the job
Good compost, needed to top up pots.Probably could have got cheaper at local supermarket but I'm disabled so so much easier having it delivered to the house.
