Sturdy product, well made and well priced.
Sturdy product, well made and well priced.Great experience with the distributor in the US (albeit I would have paid a little more if it was made in the US).The only downside I saw according to my personal observations:1. Did not include the proper HW for wood mount.2. The overall diameter of the bar is a little bit on the wider side3. No padding in the typical 4 grip positions.Other than that, great and sturdy!!

Now I have a pull-up bar in my basement.
This is a great tool for working out at home during the Pandemic.Installation: The kit came with 4 bolts, 4 nuts, 8 washers, and the bar. Installation was a bit of a pain, but that's because I mounted it on a joist in the basement, and I had to work around a vent, an electrical cable, and some cross-braces.Using it: The bar is sturdy, with enough texture to help me grip it a little, but not enough to wear at my hands. It hangs down enough to remind me it's there, but not so low that my head bangs into it. I wouldn't recommend installing this in a low-ceiling basement, but if you have enough clearance, it's a great choice.Overall, this bar is exactly what I wanted, and I'm happy with it.

solid unit!
very sturdy, and not very heavy. I added bigger washers than what came with it, just to give it a little more stability. Otherwise all the mounting hardware is shipped with it. You will need a drill, and 3/8ths bit, and a level to get it mounted right, and a ladder.

Great pull up bar... paint is a little thick
Great pull-up bar. Sturdy enough to do kipping pull-ups with...you could hang an engine block off this thing. My only complaint is that it seems the paint is a little thick so that the knurling on bar is a bit subdued/slicked. I use chalk and it helps a lot, but the manufacturer could probably either dig the grip texture a bit more deeply or apply the paint coating a little more sparingly. Great product and proud to have in the gym though!

Solid
This bar isn't moving. It's anchored much better than my doorway bar and my freestanding high-bar. Nice and solid!

Needs a little tweaking
I mounted mine into a load bearing beam in my garage. I went to Home Depot at picked up four (4) 5”x3/8” lag bolts. I weight close to 240 lbs and didn’t want it pulling out. The mounting was easy and came out super sturdy. The gnarling on the bar is on the light side so I wrapped mine with some textured exercise tape for added grip.

Would buy this again
Very happy with this pull-up bar purchase.Easy to install with different height levels for installing - excellent knurling for grip

Mounts to high
The one negative is that if you hang this from a standard basement ceiling you can't reach it without standing on something or having a really good vertical leap. I have a 9 foot tall ceiling and when mounted this will hang down about 8 inches. Meaning it's over 8 feet high. Some people can probably jump up and grab it but it would have been better if it hung lower.
