This is my second order. My husband has sensitive skin and can only use a sterile cotton ball. They are individually wrapped.

These sterile and individually packaged cotton balls are absolutely great for first aid kits. I love that I can have some in my diaper bag as well. My daughter scraped her knee on a concrete path while we were out and about the other week and we just had to squirt some water to try to clean it off. These sterile cotton balls would’ve been so much nicer to have as a tool to clean wounds, even when used with just water. There are 5 standard sized cotton balls in each sealed pack, which is more than enough to clean out most wounds. It’s also very easy to open each package — no scissors needed.

We have first aid kits in each of our cars and at home. These packs of 5 cotton balls are compact and stowed away easy in each kit leaving room for further expansion. Packs are well sealed to preserve their sterility and keep out contamination while stored. Each ball is about approx. 1" x 1" which is a pretty ideal size for general use and cover the openings of alcohol or disinfectant bottles for quick dabs. These are a solid value compared to other sterile cotton balls in sealed packs aimed at would care or other uses where sterility is a requirement. You do pay more for that compared to a single large bag of a few hundred that many folks store open under their bathroom sink, but those unsterile balls are not intended for medical use. Nice addition to our household.

This box of sterile cotton balls comes with 20 sealed packs, each containing five cotton balls, keeping them clean and easy to store. Each ball is roughly the size of a quarter. They work great for cleaning small wounds, applying ointments, or removing acrylic nail polish and gel residue. Compact and well-made, these are practical to keep in a first aid kit or beauty bag. These are good quality, soft, clean, and dependable for both medical and cosmetic use.

These little packages are difficult to open, but they do guarantee the cotton balls stay sterile until use. The cotton is rougher than I would prefer.

I got these sterile cotton balls mostly 'cause my toddler's a wild little explorer who loves scaling the furniture, leaping off everything, and darting around like anything. They're wrapped up one by one, which is a lifesaver for keeping things clean. I can just rip one open on the fly without stressing about germs getting in the mix. The cotton's straight-up 100% pure, so it's all soft and gentle even for super-sensitive skin, but it still soaks up spills from tiny scrapes or cuts. Love that they're ETO sterilized too which gives me an extra peace of mind. They're a must have for any first aid box at home, quick medical fixes, or even tossing in the bag for hikes and stuff. Highly recommended.
