Nice product, but avoid due to fragile handles
Light, space-saving and good storage capacity. Unfortunately, though this product is let down by the fragile design of the handles. My first unit didn't last long and got replaced. The replacement lasted 10-11 months longer but has suffered the same fate with the handle breaking making it useless. This time the supplier won't replace as I've had it too long - what happened to a year guarantee? AVOID

Collapsible large laundry basket
Received yesterday, before expected date. Used immediately as washing machine with 7kg load needed emptying. Basket was perfect size and opened and closed with no problem. To open, I stood on inside base and pulled up the sides. Pulled up half way, it fits under washing machine door. Then close door and open basket fully. Very pleased with it. Thank you.3 weeks later: Showed to family. They think it's an excellent idea and are thinking of getting one. I recommended this one as large enough for a full 7kg load, strong and looks good enough to be seen. Well worth the money.

it doesnt last
I was really pleased with this collapsable basket, a little awkward to collapse when new but it soon became easier. purchased aug 18, it is now july 19. I did notice a few months ago how the rubber seemed to be perishing and it has now split, so disappointing.

Good product, small fault. Amazing customer service.
This product is very handy for its fold away capability. We don’t live in a big house, so it was important to us that we could store it easy.There is a weakness on the original one we had where after a few folds the rubber started to thin and split. Much like bending a plastic rod back and forth lots of times.Mentioned it to the seller and he sent out a new one straight away.I’ve got to say the customer service here is amazing. He’s looked into the issue and spoken to his supplier. I can’t fault him and wished everyone selling took his lead and treated customers in the same way.

Loved it at first, but doesn't last, had for not quite a year before it split badly.
Looking at other reviews I can see other reviewers have had a similar experience, the rubber starts to perish after a few months of use. I loved the basket to start with, but the rubber has split completely and I have had to throw it away. I would understand more if it had a lot of folding up and down, but actually I hardly ever folded it up. I will return to the traditional basket type as I now realised I don't use the folding aspect at all. Shame because it looked nice and I liked the idea of it. (I do have two other ones of a similar type, but oval with one large rubber section instead of two sections - they haven't had the same problem so maybe it was just this type.)

Great item, good size too.
Much lighter grey colour than in the picture but a great size, easy to fold too when not in use. Ours doubled up recently as a giant ice bucket / beer cooler at our recent housewarming. Result!!!

Will it last?
Pleased with the product and it seems quite robust. However it is not easy to fold down and you have to hold the central plastic section in so that the lower rubber section can fold in properly. If not careful this lower section will get pinched in the folding process and wear away quickly. Will just have to be careful with the folding and see how long the product lasts. Having said that it is very useful and stores away in a narrow area between our washing machine and adjacent cupboard.

Really difficult to collapse.
This was bought to replace a solid basket I had for years. Thought the idea of a fold away basket would be much better and could keep it by the side of washing machine. Unfortunately this is really difficult to collapse. You have to manually tuck and somehow hold in the flexible plastic sides while at the same time trying to compress the basket so that it goes flat. It actually took two of us to do it. Perhaps over time it might get flexible enough to just push and collapse but I can't see that happening. So we now use it as a normal solid basket which we could have bought for just a few £'s. Very disappointed and cannot recommend it to others.
