Clap Hands: A First Book for Babies

I love these books! Our little grandson started clapping with us the last time we saw him so this was the natural choice and he loves it apparently. The ‘Tickle’ book was our previous choice and that was accepted enthusiastically too.

I bought this for my newborn. My two year old had the other books from the collection and loved the beautiful illustrations and simple text. This book is just as good, perfect for babies!

Lovely big drawings of baby faces doing actions. Just right size for young child to hold and turn pages themselves.

Book is good but I didn’t like the matt finish, preferring the wipe-ability of gloss. Grandson happy though and that’s all that matters!

I choose this book for the toddler group I run, it is a recommended book by the Scottish Book Trust for kids to engage with books. Big illustrations and simple words one can read to a group of young children. A short book may be a draw back for some people. You can do actions also with each page.

Nothing special about this book, I wonder why people are raving about it. Oh dear and Dear Zoo are far better books for babies.

Nice big pictures

My children had these books when they were young. They were a gift from a beloved aunt and quickly became a favorite for my children. The original set that my children had was a set of four. All four books are available and sold separately on Amazon. These books are quite durable and survived lots of use in a big family. They are sweet books with just a few words which makes it nice to read to very young children who don't have an attention span for too many words. I spent lots of time cuddling my little ones and reading these books. So glad that I found them here and can now buy them for my grandchildren!
