Excellent device for charging Medistrom Pilot 24 lite and other USB devices
The first solar panel I received didn’t work. I ordered a replacement which came in less then 2 days. This replacement has worked perfectly. I charged my Medistrom Pilot 24 Lite battery (that was previously completely de-charged) and it was completely charged somewhere between 7 to 8 hours. I was impressed given that it takes roughly 3-3.5 hours to charge from the wall. I’m going backing for 4 days and will be using these panels to charge the Pilot Lite and other devices. The panels fold into a small packet that will be easy to fit in my pack. There are little carabiners to conveniently hang the panels to get excellent exposure. I am very satisfied with the product.I am adding this statement 6 weeks later: I just got back from my 4 backpacking trip. The panels worked great. After a nights sleep, I hooked up my battery to the solar panels and let it charge while I was cooking breakfast and breaking down camp. When we stopped for lunch, I pulled out the battery and panels and charged then. Then when we stopped for the evening, I pulled it out again and could usually get a another hour or two, before the sun went down. By then my battery was completely charged. The system worked great for keeping my CPAP running through the night and then getting to full charge with ~3-4 hours of solar the following day. It is important to note that we had long days. This strategy may not work when days are short.

poor device or poor quality control?
Ordered 50 W panel for a wilderness trip to BWCA. Tested at home after discharge and recharge by A/C times three. Absolutely no gain in charge after two days, 12 hrs of sun. Sent for replacement which arrived day of departure. No restoration of charge after 8 hrs in bright sun. 4 days without CPAP. Stop selling these or improve the quality control. Why not test the output at the factory?

12 day backpacking trip at Philmont
I carried 2 Medistrom Pilot12 batteries and 50W solar charger on 12 day 53 (map) mile backpacking trip to Philmont Scout Ranch NM. 1st battery lasted 10 days with solar charging daily. Only charged when I could lay charger out (did not charge while hiking). Had to use second battery last two nights due to a long day with almost no charge time and campsite in woods below Baldytown. Next day was fogged in at Miranda. Very pleased with charger and batteries. It was about 8 lbs hit on my pack including my Dream Station. It wasn't cheap to outfit but made the trip. Also used for two night trip to Red River Gorge KY.Did lots of testing in backyard before trip. Needed about 4 hrs good sun to replace drain from one night. Batteries were good for just about 2 nights. I sleep just under 6 hrs at moderate pressure. I think 11.

Told by Medistrom that a 50W panel won't charge the battery in a day
I use this battery and solar panel when I'm camping. On multiple occasions, the battery hadn't gained enough charge by the end of the day to run my C-PAP that night--the very reason I purchased it. And I spent time moving the panel and chasing the sun throughout the day. When I contacted Medistrom they said that could take more than a day to charge. My recommendation: find a 100W panel and buy it instead.

Utterly worthless
Complete garbage -- I charged it for 7 hours straight in direct summer sunlight and it did not charge the battery at all. Changed the cable, and it still did nothing. Because it has only a 30 day return policy, by the time I got back from my trip it was already past the return window.A complete scam, made in China.

Does a good Job
I'm using this to keep my CPAP battery charged on camping trips. It does a good job, but you do need to have it hooked up all day to have enough charge for a full nights sleep.

Wish it actually worked
Pretty much useless. Need to contact Medistrom for refund or replacement. Bought for camping and got 4 hours out of CPAP battery and failed to charge the rest of the 9 days. Battery was Pilot Lite 24.

Don't rely on these
Doesn't seem to work very well. Even partial clouds greatly reduces the charging speed. Setting these up in full sun for many hours doesn't always bring the battery to full charge, and even when the battery reports a full charge, it doesn't last through the night as it would when charged from the wall. The included charging cable is also pretty short, which makes keeping the panels in the sun and the battery out of the sun during charging, per the instructions, a challenge.Unfortunately the return window is shorter than a camping season, so by the time I was ready to give up on these it was too late for a refund.
