APPS2Car CD Slot Phone Mount Holder for Car (Faux Leather)

With a small modification, it fits in our 2015 Silverado CD slot. You are supposed to tighten a wingnut on the mount to make the jaws spread wider, but it was too long and hit a knob on the dash directly below. I replaced it with a short bolt with the same thread (M6). After placing the mount in the CD slot, I used a nut driver to tighten it. Works perfectly. Holds the phone firmly in place. Time will tell if it holds up, but for now, it is great. I have included two photos. One is how it looks on the dash, and the second is a close-up of the replacement bolt (and the offending knob below it)

This is an excellent car phone-mount, simple and sturdy. I switched to a car-mount with a bracket holder from one with a magnetic phone attachment. Previously, pulling the phone off the magnet loosened the device's screw connection, causing it pop-out frequently, and eventually fail all together. With the bracket holder, you're not pulling on the screw-on anchor every time you remove the phone.

I’m not the biggest fan. In my car, the CD player is right below my camera screen so u can’t see when u backing up. That’s not the fault of this product — just something to consider. I have an iPhone 16, which is a little heavy, and the swivel part of the holder doesn’t support the weight very well. I’ve had my phone dumped to the floor a couple of times due to the lack of support from the swivel. It’s a great concept though and will probably work well with lighter phones.

Works well..Does what it's supposed to do..

Even sturdier than I imagined. Great quality, fits perfectly, and doesn't move once installed. I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S Countryman and it's a perfect fit, doesn't block radio or shifter.
