You're either into protein bars or not. If you are, then you've basically accepted that you're eating a load of gloop in order to get that magic 20g of protein in. The problem then becomes two-fold: not spending an arm and a leg; and finding one that tastes ok and doesn't look stupid when eating in public... This range overall is very decently priced, especially when you compare to the usual offerings in supermarkets, which easily cost twice as much. When I first tried them out, I bought a mixed selection. The other bars either looked completely childish (white chocolate bar with multi-coloured sprinkles) or tasted slightly odd. This flavour hit the mark, and the standard chocolate coating means you can eat it in front of colleagues or the general public without feeling like an idiot. Basically it tastes like a Double Decker, never a bad thing for any chocolate bar.

Tasty protein bars. My mum loves it. I found that the centre of a couple of them had gone hard, so be carful with storage. But good vaue for money compared to USN etc, and high protein content. Not dry

These are my favourite protein bars and would have given 5 if they arrived with more than 1 month on the best before date.

Really tasty bars. Had a few different makes, but these are nice as they've a crunch as well as a tasty interior

These protein bars are so good I actually looked at the nutritional information again! They are absolutely delicious but beware of eating too much if you’re a smaller build. My first one I ate the whole bar and I was uncomfortably full for the next 2 hours I think they may expand! I limit to half a bar now and I’m full for quite a while. I bought 7 different flavours & can honestly say they are all awesome with no strange aftertaste. Will definitely be buying again when I’ve gotten through this lot which I can confirm will be no great hardship!!

Bought to assist with post workout. Taste was good but got boring after a few the value for money is good and is an easy alternative for supplement.

I tried these after being a regular of Huel and Grenade protein bars. My verdict: Pretty meh. Lost 1 star: They do not actually taste that good. They are sweet but have a slightly funny taste that is not really my idea of salted caramel. I cannot really describe it, just average bordering on not even enjoyable. Lost another star: Because each bar contains 6g of SATURATED FAT, comes out as a food rating of C+ on my "My Net Diary" app (in semi scary orange colour). Overall, the bar contains some sort of fudgy substance (in consistency), topped with something allegedly caramel like, all covered by a bit of wafer, then some sort of rice crispy'ish topping all covered with chocolate. The chocolate coated rice crispy bits also drop of quite readily, which if they land on your top, melt into a bit if a chocolate pebble dashed mess. On the upside, they are quite big (compared to others I have tried) and do have more protein, so if that all you are after these may be for you. But for me, they should taste better given the saturated fat content and although I am trying to increase protein intake, I do not want this to be at the expense of my arteries. Looking forwards to getting rid of this box and back to something healthier and tastier.

My friend recommended me the peanut flavor but it was not available so I got sea salt caramel instead. It’s the most delicious protein bar (with actually high protein %) I’ve had so far! It’s close to a regular chocolate bar and tastes even better if it’s right out from the fridge. Will try other flavors for sure!

Sent a box to my son and his mates renting a share house. They loved them - they were surprised at both the taste and the size - good reaction overall.
