Can 15w50 vanguard synthetic oil be used on my Toro Recycler 22 inch mower ?

I would not. I would stick to a good 30 weight or 10w-30. Splash type oiling systems are not good with thick oils.

I have an older vanguard and the book says sae 30 or 10w-30, which i have done. i have never had one die, the oldest is 32. now which oil?.

I use the 10 30 vanguard synthetic oil in all of my equipment. I am commercial and the mower. Do you use oil because they are air cooled and is to be expected of some usage between oil changes. My units are two to 14 years old and I have yet to have a problem with any part of the engines hope this helps

Can this oil be used in a motorcycle?

Technically yes, but I would check on the manufacturers specs of the bike before using.

Does this meet SAE standards?

I would assume so. It is the oil Briggs recommends. Doubt they would recommend sub standard oil
