Colored Sharp Blade Japanese Samurai Katana Sword

Wow. I sent a note to the seller immediately after ordering this asking for it to be made very sharp. They replied the next day agreeing to do that and saying they had a new finishing process that altered how the blade looked from the image on Amazon. The new look is considerably better, with a Damascus- looking pattern of dark red lines on a dark blue - almost blue/purple background. It is gorgeous! It arrive a week earlier than expected in a styrofoam box that very well protected it. It next had a very nice cloth sword pouch and a highly polished black scabbard with brilliant blue dragon etching on one side. This total package is considerably nicer than I was expecting for the price. I am not about to go whacking trees with this, though it appears well enough made to take the punishment. But it is so gorgeous I only want to hold it with nice gloves on or with a lightly oiled cloth - it is a real eye stunner and my other swords are envious. Oh, and it came extremely sharp!

Great sword should have waited i payed 175.00 and it is now 126.00 it came to day I is a thing of beauty the crafts man knew what he was doing my overall impression was that it was only for looks how ever upon closer inspection the balance is perfect the edge was unbelievable the thought that whent behind this sword shows just how much the maker loved it down to the very tip the handle is well balanced and insync with the blade the red is more of a crimson red this wapon is perfect and I would highly recommend this to any one who see the sword as a symbol of honor and pride one of the best peice I have seen in a while and shipping was fare faster then I could have ever thought possible all in all I tip my hate to the seller and the manufacturing of this wapon

Okay, your probably reading these reviews like I was. “It’s a sword, so what, it can’t be that good!” You say. Your so wrong! This is THE nicest sword I’ve ever held, and one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The full tang (the blade runs all the way through the handle) adds some weight but is totally worth it. It’s sturdy and sharp. As for customer service, 5 more stars! Very friendly and happy to accommodate any of your wishes regarding your order. Seriously, order this thing now.

Beautiful sword. Very nice detail. Very sweet handling of sword. I have purchased many swords for teen to adult children and this one has wonderful weight and balance in how the sword handles and feels carrying it. I have not used it because it's a gift but I am super happy with this purchase and can't wait for my son to open it.

Really well made sword, there's no play in the assembly and the blue folding is done beautifully. I was really glad the the blade is indeed a dark blue with a bit of red in the folds. I would but this sword again

Amazing product!. It arrived VERY early and it is so well built. The customer service was amazing. They were very kind and easy to work with. They responded no later than 1 day to all requests. The sword is very sharp and the hamon is beautiful. The says fits nice and tight. Theres no loose parts anywhere! Great customization options. I highly recommend this company.

Seems very well constructed my request for some different finishing were correct. The blade is a little different from the picture looks a lot more metallic in person compared to the dull dry look in the pictures. Blade is 100 percent not sharp if used in combat you would die of blunt force trauma. The blade wouldn't even cut paper and i asked the blade to be as sharp as possible. Overall though very nice looking and came extremely fast compared to there shipping expectancy. If the blade was sharp would be a 5/5.
