Amazing
I've had more than a few capos and eventually they always break under the stress. This simple device works so well and is the best capo I've ever had. High cost, but then so would another 10 capos over the life of a guitar. Highly recommended.

The best capo I have found to date by a mile. Well worth the investment

I have a standard width one and it is the worlds best capo. If fits all guitars particularly compound radius ...
Due to a problem at the factory mine, could not be supplied. But ,I have a standard width one and it is the worlds best capo. If fits all guitars particularly compound radius necks. It is better than, and cheaper than a Elliot capo ,which does not fit every neck. It may be pricey but the best always is,fact of life. P.S. Don`t lend it out or lose it.

If you want perfect pitch, this is the baby you need
Absolute quality and easy to use. Applies even pressure across all strings every time. Up until now I used Standard G7th which was good, but not in the same class as this one.

Excellent
Great, really the best capo I have ever used, my only issue (my fault) was I should have ordered the wide one as I use my 12 string as well. Wish I could change it ????

Buyers Remorse?
I really lusted after one of these capos and thanks to a surprise birthday gift of an Amazon gift voucher to part fund it I decided to take the plunge. One thing that surprised me straight off is how incredibly small this capo is. I actually thought they had sent me one for a banjo or something - so the photos do not communicate how small this capo really is. I am a guitar player (both semi-pro and amateur) of 60 years and I have used every capo imaginable. This does its job but in fact more modern designs like the G7th itself are probably better and obviously a lot less costly. It's nice piece of guitar porn but honestly, save your money for strings or other accesories is my advice.

Eye-waveringly expensive, but..
It's the best capo there is, bar none, and in the grand scheme of things, £115 spent of a guitar accessory that should last you a lifetime is not that much.

Faulty and missing parts
My suspicion is that I was sent a faulty return. Hard to believe this left the G7 production line like this.

Yes... it's expensive. No, it shouldn't be this expensive - BUT, it's fantastic. It comes packaged in a tasteful box containing a leather case wrapped in tissue. The case is embossed with the G7th logo, it smells as good as it looks, and has a separate pocket for picks. Inside the case the capo is wrapped in what appears to be a microfiber cloth which again features the G7th logo. Removing it is a decadent ritual that puts a smile on my face. The capo looks small in your hand, but it fits wonderfully and, once tightened, yields perfect tone. The design ensures your fret hand should never contact the mechanism and precludes damage to the neck of your guitar. Perhaps the case should have a belt loop on it so it could be attached to a guitar strap to avoid loss, and I might have preferred a more subtle nickel finish to chrome, but aside from that it would be difficult to improve upon this package. If you can get past the price you won't regret this purchase. If you feel it's too extravagant to buy for yourself, convince someone to buy you one as a gift - that's what I did...
