Not my first buy and excellect as always
This model is my favorite, very handy to install and sits neatly behind the rear view mirror.Great quality video - I just set it to standard HD 1920 x 1080 to save file space and images are crystal clear.GPS and tracking data is fun to watch on dash cam video software (not supplied).Did have a problem initially with GPS and against my better judgement (from experience) I contact the seller. I was really impressed with the follow up and we traced the issue down to car electronics issue but now all sorted. So after sales is really good from a trusted brand Amacam in the UK.

We liked this so much, we have one in each of our cars
We liked this so much, we have one in each of our cars. Getting the memory card in and out can be a bit fiddly, but once plugged into a PC the viewed results with Google map location displayed are great.Thankfully, we have not needed to use them for evidential purposes!!They are easy to fit, and we used high quality 64gb micro-SD cards. The standard power lead provided is to a cigarette lighter type plug. That can trail across the car, but the lead is long it's not too difficult to tuck it behind trim panels out of the way. In one car, I have rigged it so that it's wired into a separate power supply that is much neater.Be aware though, that if your car is older and the 12v socket stays on when the ignition is off, over several weeks it could drain your battery.

Great dashcam - easy to use
Great dashcam - easy to use, mount is strong. Quality is great, and angle of view is very wide. The key positive for me is the fact that the saved video clips have the speed embedded in the top right corner using the GPS (which always works). It caught a mechanic flooring it in my car when I took it to a main dealer (I got a lot of freebies, so it paid for itself!).The box comes with a sticky mount with a spare sticky pad, as well as the 12v charging cable. Without any configuration or fiddling it will turn on and off automatically with the ignition.I can also confirm that the Nextbase Hardwire kit is compatible with this product (should you want to plug in straight into your fusebox).

AM-M90 - Not as happy as I was with the AM-M81
Changing this review to one star. Both front and rear cameras keep falling off making the product useless.Having owned the AM-M81 camera for almost 5 years I decided to stick with brand loyalty and went with the AM-M90 over the Viofo brand when the M81 stopped working. Firstly the good. Like the M81, the M90 is small and discreet and easy to set up. Although the instructions are a questionable translation they are understandable. The price is good and the delivery was prompt. The picture quality on both the front and rear cameras is really clear. Now the bad. The M81 had the power supply on the side of the GPS unit but on the M90 it is on the top. As I have a console on the front windscreen which houses various sensors and internal lights this means I have to mount the camera lower down on the windscreen than I would like otherwise the power cable won't go in. There is a second socket underneath but when you use this the cable is in shot. I really don't understand why they had to change this. After almost 5 years stuck to the windscreen not once did the M81 fall off. In fact, when I went to remove it I was worried at one point I was never going to get it off it was stuck so well. The M90 has fallen off almost 10 times in less than a month. Whilst it comes with more than one adhesive pad I have now used all of those and the rear camera is no better when it comes to the stickyness of the adhesive pads. The final issue is the viewing software. On the M81 an application was installed on the micro SD card to view clips with Google maps overlaid. The M90 has a shortcut to a website for the software to be downloaded. When I have tried to download and install the software I have been prevented from doing so by my antivirus software. If the cameras would stay stuck to the windows then it would be a better product.
