Dance or cheer purpose only
We got these to use under a dance costume for coverage and they were perfect. They fit well and don't bunch or ride up and are very sheer and silky feel, but don't shine. It's a true black. I would only use them under a dance or cheer costume and never stand alone because they would be way to short on their own; but for an under costume purpose they are perfect

Exactly what we wanted… until
My daughter likes to wear these shorts with her gymnastic leotard. The color was exactly what she wanted and said they fit great! I washed it on a delicate cycle and hung them to dry. The next week after her lesson I washed it on delicate and the hem unraveled out of one leg. How am I supposed to fix that so she can wear them in public?

Both my twins love these shorts
Both my son and daughter are into gymnastics and modern dance. They both wear the same size so are always swapping clothes. These shorts fit them both and they are not at all sheer. I mean you can tell who is the boy and who is the girl, but nothing really shows. I will have to get them other colors once they are back in stock.

Perfect for my daughters! Great quality!!!
I bought a few of these shorts in navy, for my daughters school uniform and they are perfect. I ordered only one short for each of them the first time, because after reading all the reviews I wasn't sure they were going to fit well. I ordered a Medium for my 7 year old, and it fit just right, so the second time I ordered her a Large, which is a little bigger but not too loose on her, and will give her some room to grow this year! For my 5 year old daughter, who is very slim, I ordered her a intermediate (6-8) and fits perfect! She tried the medium as well, but it was too loose on her waist. I guess if your daughter is slim, you can go with a size bigger from her clothing size, and if she's more in the chunkier side, two sizes bigger will do. However, these shorts are especially made for dancing, and are supposed to be very short and tight!

Very quick delivery got it the next day. Brought them for my son to wear under his costumes for his rehearsals and show. Good quality and fit well
