I don't know if I didn't read the description well enough or what, but I HAD been looking for a camera to use for online viewing (not for security, just for an animal cam). This had been recommended on another site.While technically it CAN be viewed remotely, it's NOT online, so there is no way to say, display the live feed on a website. It's ONLY viewable by an ap.That's absurd. You literally have to have your phone running the ap in FRONT of you to catch ANYTHING and it won't even record unless it's the top ap. WHAT'S THE POINT?!It's NOT wireless. In any sense. It needs a plug. That sucks even more.****Read ON****BUT . . . .It's cheap. VERY affordable actually.IT WORKS. It manuvers soooo well like an owl head!It's CLEAR. Nice video detail even at night (we are talking about a phone picture though . . .)It's Easy. It's pretty much plug and play.**** I was sooooo disgusted it wasn't online. I was going to throw it away (it's literally useless for anything other than curiosity factor). And that's when I found it . . . .You CAN HACK the camera. You can FORCE it to go online. There's another ap called "TinyCam" and it works with ALLLLL cameras like this one and turns them into livestream cams. It gives them an IP and allows LIVE viewing 24/7.You just need an OLD dedicatd smart phone to forward the IP address to your router. Find directions online at tinycam website and you'll be off an running (hint, it's not a simple set-up)Bottom line, it's a nice cam, but the features suck. I will only be buying the one camera unless they come out with another version with a rechargable battery . . . I can only run sooo many extension cords . . .

I have owned several brands of home cameras and for one reason or other, they will quit working. The last three I had, the dude who wrote the app refused to update the app so I have 3 cameras I could view if I were home (not the purpose of them obviously) because they would not work if not on my home wifi. I bought one of these Wize cameras and wow, so easy to set up and very clear. I love that it will follow movement. I bought the outer waterproof cover for one of the cameras and have it set up on the patio so I can keep an eye on my dogs and the waterproof cover actually works! I have three of these cameras now. And they are way cheaper than the other ones I've purchased in the past!

So far so good. I've had my camera up for a few days now. The original set up was a pain in the A&&! For the life of me I could not get the camera to connect to my phone and wifi. Because.. the I instructions were WRONG. When scanning the QR code you have to actually fave the camera lens to the one on phone, not match the two 5-6inches from each other like it says to, including the tutorial they offered. And there is no customer service reps to talk to thT are ever available ( I tried for over a week to get ahold of someone and was going to return the product till I figured or out myself!) I also am not happy that it has to stay plugged in and not battery operated or wireless. And lastly, I do not like how the camera rotates (jumps around) when it sees motion and records (makes it hard to get a good view on the subject)It's easy to install, decent footage (for the price) and has amazing range for motion detection and alerts right away when it picks something up.

I bought this sleeve to use my Wyze Pan Camera outside. It works just fine. The only issue i have and others have said the same thing is when in night vision mode, there is a reflection of some of the light into the camera.You can bypass this in 2 ways, don't use night vision mode (not really an option though, defeats the purpose of watching the area this camera is covering) or 2, put some black tape on the inside of the lip by the camera lens. I've used black electrical tape to help stop the reflections of the IR LEDs but since this is a silicone cover the tape doesn't last long. The next step is to try black gorilla tape and see if sticks any better than the electrical tape does.I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the IR light from the LEDs reflecting off of the case and back into the camera. The reflected IR light doesn't flood the camera only gives a halo effect at the edges of the detection area.

My wife found out about Wyze cams through word of mouth and search engines. When they came it, we discovered that they did not have mounting brackets, which is not an issue. I came onto Amazon and found these. I held hope in protecting the cameras because reviewers said the cover would fit well.When the box came in with the first protective case and bracket, I verified immediately that the bracket does indeed fit the camera and it has a lot of flexibility in its positioning and angle for every possibility. However, the cover was a different story. The cover is so loose that you can see gaps between the plastic and the silicon. This made me concerned over where I would place it securely without it being damaged by rain or snow.The big blow came when I ordered three more of these protective cases and brackets: all of the protective cases were loose and left gaps on the inside. I cannot confidently use these at all, which means that my wife and I have to re-evaluate the placement of the cameras.

I ordered this item to mount my Wyze cam pan device outside in my backyard. I am happy with the quality and fit of the protective case, as well as the ease of mounting and apparent durability. Overall the product meets the specifications as described in the product listing, however I have noticed a strong glare that impedes the picture quality when the cameras IR night vision is activated. I was able to troubleshoot the issue, and discovered that there is a reflection from the all white case which causes glare when the night vision is on. To resolve the issue I placed black duct tape along the interior of the visor, and below the opening for the camera lens. This simple trick has been effective in eliminating the majority of the night time glare.

Tengo bastantes camaras de estas en mis propiedades, para poder darle seguimiento y seguridad de quien entra, quien sale, quien hace que dentro y fuera de la casa. Funciona de dia y de noche, y todo controlado desde la app del celular.

No funciona ni lo recomiendo seguramente con una leve lluvia se mojara

Dado que en mi casa uso de cabeza la camara se sale fácilmente de la camara

No era lo que esperaba, la carcasa es muy blanda

Como protección contra el polvo es buena, pero para lluvia no creo que tenga la suficiente protección.
