Liberty Porter, First Daughter (1)

This was one of the books I gave my granddaughter for her birthday. She told me last night she LOVED the book sooooooo much! It’s now her most favorite.I was glad to know it was a hit!

A great book for every grade-school child. I bought it for my granddaughter’s summer book-club, and we grandparents enjoyed reading it too.

My nine year old daughter read Liberty Porter from cover to cover in one afternoon. She liked it so much that we immediately ordered a second copy as a gift for her cousin. Julia DeViller's books always include fun characters that send a positive message to young girls. Liberty Porter is no exception, building on every girl's dream of living in the White House. If you are looking for a fun read with a positive message, I highly recommend Liberty Porter.

My 8 year old daughter loved this book. She loves reading fun books. But, not "Educational" books. I love that this gave her a tiny bit of both. She learned small things about the white house (like who secret service agents are, where the white house is, etc.) and she loved the story. Makes for a great book!
