This is a good product if you either have just a few greys to mask in your hair and use one close to your hair colour or if your roots are starting to show before a trip to the salon. I have only used it for small areas, for which I think it works well. I don't know if it would be good to cover one's whole head.

Can't find that brand in stores anymore. I tried the plush brown kind and wow! I look twenty years younger. It's lighter on the scalp than dying your hair - dyes have been known to give you leukemia - but rinses like this one washes off after a few weeks. You need to reapply a coat, but it's less damaging for the scalp.

I had used this product many years ago but thought it had long been taken off the market so upon learning it's available through Amazon it was a done deal to get it again. It's easy to apply, dries well, doesn't rub off, even survives a quick shampoo and yes it does add a shine to your hair. Because it doesn't contain a lot of harsh chemicals i feel that's an added bonus. Will continue to use this hair color.

I had decided to quit dying my hair a dark colour and let my natural grey grow out. So I was using those little spray cans with the thin stream of colour to touch up roots in the meantime. But they are very expensive and once the new growth gets an inch or more long, it is very hard to get coverage with them. this worked well by not fully covering it but sort of blending it. It is watery and could have a better way of dispensing it. But it was fine. It washed right out and doesn't leave hair feeling hard and dry like those little spray cans. It's hard to use a lot of it so eventually I wuit once my hair grew to a certain point. But it was helpful in the initial transition to grey.

Can use each time you shampoo your hair and is a good conditioner and setting lotion
