Silk, bright white and properly stitched. This is not formal dress, and was not purchased as such, it is intended as a Tai Chi uniform and will more than meet that requirement. Extremely fast shipping.I was most impressed with the quality of the silk fabric. Very comfortable and the large fit perfectly as I am just 6' 180 lbs.

Shiny material. Fastening a tad difficult.

As one reviewer wrote, the sizes run small.I'm 5' 10" and 145 lb and the Extra Large is a great fit. It feels very comfortable and suited for practice.I'm very satisfied.Just one thing; it's nearly see through, so choose your undergarments accordingly.

Fabric was awful!!!!

I am just 5 feet tall and according to the size chart, I'd take a large. I expected to need to make alterations for leg and arm length, but the entire item was overwhelmingly huge on me. The arms and legs ballooned out -- so much cloth, alterations wouldn't solve the problem. I found the material too sheer as well.

I assumed it was just silk and not a mix of polyester and tried dyeing it as such but came back to the site to see it was a mixed blend and now starting to get the color I was going for. Unfortunately I wasted about 5 bottles of Rit dye, oh well. Feels great and will buy another when this is worn out in my sparring matches.
