I tried it at first during the day to be more calm (toddler's Mom here. Many frustrating moments. Total lack of sleep and free time!). 100mg in the morning: made me kinda sluggish. But paired with a tea (or another suppl I take with caffeine and I'm super sensitive to it: that helps!) it is fine. But I use it mostly at night when I know I won't be able to fall asleep. It really helps when you've too many thoughts, feel tired but your brain is still racing. I take 200mg at once then (at night!).

My elderly mother has severe anxiety. Severe loss of appetite. I put her on 400mg of this. 100 in the morning 200 at noon and 100 at bedtime. Within 2 weeks, she was eating and feeling less anxiety. Before the first month was over she felt no anxiety at all. She told me today she wants it for the rest of her life.

Doing this for a few days can lead to some serious withdraw when you stop (easy to get over- just be aware and ween)

I get very anxious around "that time of the month" and when I am overly stressed. I bought these out of desperation... The ratings looked to be pretty decent (sometimes it would not work for people, but most of the time it would). The L-Theanine helped me enough to where I wanted to leave a review. I feel like my head clears and I am able to relax a little more. The price is reasonable enough to give it a shot.

The L-theanine seems to be genuine Suntheanine, patented by the Japanese manufacturer. I received the same noticeable benefits as I did from other brands. I gave the product 5 stars, because of the quality. The price also, was outstanding. Now, for my one and only complaint. Amazon specified 3-5 day shipping. When I went to check out, the shipping time specified 7-10 days. This was contradicting information. I did not like this. Swansons C.S. personnel was very apologetic and fully explained the reason for the different ship times. My suggestion for eliminating this misinformation in the future, would be to have the exact ship time shown very plainly on the check out page, before the purchase is made. This may already be on the check out page and I just didn't see it. All in all, the extra ship time was not a major inconvenience. The fact that I felt misinformed, was just disappointing. Perhaps Amazon should not show a ship time at all, if the product is being shipped by a different company. That company could then give one ship time, which is their ship time. This time should be shown before purchasing the product. Thank you for allowing me to comment on this purchase experience.
