Beautiful model
Well worth the price! Beautiful quality, I'm very happy with this model! However, if someone is looking for an exact replica of Disney's Herbie The Love Bug, I believe most serious collectors can see that the model is not 100% accurate . The most noticeable differences beeing the bumpers and no canvas roof . But there is no misrepresentation! The packaging does not bear the Disney branding nor the name of the car. Further more, the pictures of the model are clear and detailed and show exactly what the model is like!

It's not "Herbie" now.
Herbie was a '63 not '73. It don't say it is, mind you. But why it has those decals on, eludes me. I knew it wasn't when I bought it, I just would have preferred a plain white bug. I suppose I can take the decals off but what the heck. The doors open, that's all. No engine, so the bottom looks kind of " Toy-ish ". Not good packing, the box was crushed somewhat. Still item was intact. Good for display anyway.

I read the description wrong, thinking it was a ‘63 Beetle. But it’s a ‘73. But it’s still a greatly detailed Herbie.
