My Astro A40 AV Cable Replacement
6 Nov 2018Pros: -Great replacement cable for Astro A40 headset-Cable rubber thickness is nice and thick (my Astro A40 Xbox One M80 adapter cable internal wires broke because of how flimsy it is, hence why I bought this product)Cons: -Doesn't have a picture or paint of direction of turning volume up/down or which way is muted or unmuted (took me a minute to figure out I was muted when I was trying to talk in a party)-The mute and volume switch box seems very cheaply made / flimsy plastic (Just needs thicker plastic)How I use this: Xbox One X, PDP Afterglow Prismatic Wired Controller for Xbox One, Xbox One Microsoft party chat.This product works well for my purposes of how I am using this cable. I get good quality sound and people can hear me in chat.

Product works on Astro A10 headset
Product does work for Astro A10 that's what I bought them for and they work fine. All these people complain about how these aftermarket cords are but Astros cords are not any better because we are all having to buy replacements. Overall good product for the money will buy again if need be.

Not a good replacement for a broken A10 cord
We went cheap with this replacement, but it did NOT hold up like the original and failed within a few weeks. Definitely not a quality replacement.

Left Audio is coming out of right headset Speaker and vice versa.
I really loved the product but when first trying it on my astros A40 to my xbox. the sound felt alittle off. I then tried on my PC which is what I originally bought it for I had the same problem. So I tried to test the audio and is where I found that the Left Audio was coming out of my Right Headset Speaker. I used another one of my cables for reference that worked perfect. So it was not my pc or headset. I got a replacement and it had the same issue.

Doesn’t always work.
Doesn’t work well, constantly goes in and out. Have to wiggle it around a little to get it to work again.

Game sound cuts in and out instantly
Cord stopped working after about a week. Sounds constantly cuts in and out.

Connection problems almost immediately
I was hopeful that this cord would be better then the last I got from this company but it started having connection problems immediately . It’s very rigid and seems to have issues where it plugs into the controller. It was more expensive and seemed better but it still gives me trouble . Very frustrating.

Gold plated jack was bent and broken
Just got it today straight out of package notice the gold plated jack that goes in to the controller was bent and part of it was broken very disappointed in the product
