Scream 3 [Blu-ray]

Love all the scream movies. Especially since they bring most of the main character back

My daughter and her friends love these movies. Not sure why they like the movies but they've had me rent all of them.

Entertaining

Gotta love Scream. Always keeps up a good pace and thrill.

This is the only Scream that was missing from my collection. Worth the watch, especially a must when you are having a marathon.

Scream 3 is okay. Both the ones before and after are much better but you can't have the series without #3.

I try to be as honest as I can when reviewing Movies and I must say that this is a classic. A "must have" movie for anyone who likes scary movies. I will say that Most movies get worse as the sequels come out but this one is just as good as the first one. I have all of the Scream movies and I would recommend them to anyone who has not seen them or to anyone who does not own them. One of my favorites.Obviously The plot surrounds Sidney Prescott (Nev Campbell) and the rest of the gang from Scream 1 and 2. I will say that Randy does make a cameo appearance in this film even though he was butchered pretty badly in the second one by Billies Mother :P The plot is honestly pretty much the same as the first two with a mysterious ghost face killer wanting to kill Sidney for some crazy unknown reason. The reason is however ALWAYS made clear at the end. With Scream 3 though I must say that you will not see this coming if you have never seen it before. It was a BIG Shock to me when I first saw it. The rules that applied to Scream 1 do not apply to the Concluding chapter in the Scream Trilogy! You think you know the facts but the truth is you don't. The past comes back to bight them in the behind and everything that they thought they knew about the past was WRONG! That is precisely why I recommend this one to anyone who doesn't own it or has never seen it :) It is just a classic. This is one of the better Scream films (in my opinion). The characters have grown up a bit, as have the actors. It's lovely to see them all again (the survivors). This film utilises a little of our 21st century technology and has an amazing twist at the end. If you haven't seen this movie yet the ending will surprise you, but it's so good.

Questa edizione di Scream 3 in DVD è un po' strana perché quando l'ho messo la prima volta è partito subito la seconda ha avuto problemi la terza ha ri-funzionato. Non penso che sia il mio lettore anche perché è nuovo e legge anche blu ray e non ho avuto alcun problema su nessun altro disco. Purtroppo però in Italia a quanto pare ci dobbiamo accontentare del DVD perché il blu-ray non esiste più. Quindi per gli appassionati del blu-ray dobbiamo tenerci l'uno il 2 il 4 in blu-ray e il 3 in DVD.

La saga degli Scream , diretta e creata da Wes Craven , maestro degli Horror , è decisamente una saga interessante e complessa .La struttura degli stessi ricalca i vecchi nigtmare , venerdi 13 etc i film si rifanno alla figura di un serial killer realmente esistito.Il terzo , per l'appunto inizia con una scena in una doccia ( vedi psyco ) e continua con una serie di omicidi ambientati in diverse location ,tra cui anche il set di un film dell'orror ove Ghost face riesce a prendersi gioco di guardie del corpo , sparisce e riappare con notevole velocità ,sis copre egli è una persona conosciuta ad alcune delle vittime , il killer non calcola che alcune delle sue presunte vittime hanno un giubotto anti proiettile...alla fine viene messo ko...

Aunque esta es la menos original, en el 2000 fue un buen cierre (aparentemente) hasta que llego la cuarta parte una década después.Aún así, es bueno que los personajes principales sigan y que la historia siga siendo fiel. En este capítulo si se siente más de lo mismo y que bien que la hayan dejado descansar por un rato, de lo contrario se habría perdido lo que es ahora: una antología slasher que tiene lugar como de las más representativas en el terror. Vale la pena aunque tiene sus altibajos.El bluRay tiene idioma en ingles, subtítulos en inglés y español, como extras: comentario con el director, productora y editor, escenas eliminadas, finales alternativos, escenas descartadas, detrás de cámaras, vídeos musicales, tráiler y spots de tv.

Questo terzo episodio di Scream delude un po' le aspettative. I nuovi personaggi sono tutti troppo sopra le righe, le scene degli omicidi si susseguono senza nessun brivido, rasentando spesso il ridicolo involontario e, cosa più grave di tutte, l'ironia dei primi due film qui cede il passo alla quasi comicità, il tutto a scapito della tensione che un thriller di questo tipo dovrebbe avere. La colpa è forse del nuovo sceneggiatore ma anche Wes Craven alla regia poteva fare di meglio. La storia comunque regge bene ed il finale è forse la parte più interessante del film. Il bluray è eccellente come qualità audio e video ma anche qui totale assenza di contenuti extra. Eppure nel vecchio DVD che avevo c'è n'erano un casino tra making of, scene tagliate e finale alternativo... Mah, le solite strategie di marketing! Servizio Amazon comunque puntuale come sempre nella consegna.
