The media could not be loaded. This yarn is so easy to work with and made this pillow in under an hour. I finger knit this…when I pulled a loop through, it stayed in place perfectly and never moved. It is literally the easiest yarn ive ever worked with. The yarn is thick, (about the size of dime) and is soft and velvety. It’s a bit on the heavier side, and this entire pillow is kinda heavy and would definitely hurt in a pillow fight…lol! All in all, I absolutely love this yarn and will be buying more!

Pricey, but very nicely made

It’s essentially a long fabric tube full of stuffing, however it is NOT uniformly stuffed. Some parts are nice and full but other parts have no stuffing in it which makes it completely flat and you can’t scoot the stuffing over to even it out. It’s the worst at the middle of the skein because it’s all compressed from the weight. And then the flat parts are all twisted up which makes the fabric wrinkly. The texture is otherwise soft and velvety, but the nonuniform thickness makes it inherently impossible to make stitches the same size. Especially for the price, I do not recommend this yarn.

You can even make items using the same sewing techniques used to make rope baskets or chair pads, just by sewing the edges together using a zig-zag stitch while forming a continuous coil.There's no limit to what you can create with just one skein!I'm looking forward to using this unique yarn to see what I can create. I would recommend this bulky giant knitting yarn to anyone who loves crafting, knitting, crochet, and other yarn crafts.. I'm happy to have it in my yarn stash.

I got this for my m-i-l who has recently been on a bit of a crocheting marathon. She has made throws and blankets for like everyone on her gift list (but me!) and I know she had used large yarn in the past, so I got her this to help her make hats and scarves. But she didn't like it (she has dementia, so can be that way) and just threw it away. I saved it and am using it to tie up laundry bags that had metal holders that kept coming off as I tried to get them downstairs to the washing machine. They work brilliantly for that. I find them soft, and although I wouldn't have chosen gray for myself, it was available and she usually uses neutral colors, so I thought it was better than the black/white color pallet. Anyway, I think it's a nice item, but I know you need special large crochet needles to do it, and maybe that's why she decided not to try it. I also tried to get her a set of needles in various sizes, but she refused that too. Cute item if you want to use it for tighter knit/crochet gifts. I think it would make gorgeous hats and scarves, with no big holes to let the cold air in.
