that looks easy! " But of course
"Well, that looks easy!" But of course, it's nigh impossible for the beginner. Ian does a great job of explaining how to cover the spot, and the plastic disks are the perfect size to barely cover the spot. It takes WORK, by the way. I spent weeks getting to the point where I could win ALMOST every time. I broke it in as an addition to the three-shell game and fast-and-loose as a component of my pre-show lobby games last week, and everybody who played had fun. MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY.

Small, cheap, flimsy.
Complete garbage.1) The discs are so much smaller than what the carnivals use.2) The discs are practically paper thin, most carnivals I've seen are thicker discs or metal discs.3) Flimsy plastic. They could have used much better material for what they are charging. It probably costs less than $1 in material, most of the cost being the DVD.Not very close to the carnival experience. You can only use it have an idea where to place the discs, but you can do that through free the internet app. It will not help you practice for the real thing.DO NOT PURCHASE. It was too late for me the refund it when I finally opened the package to try it.

Made Portable for Magicians
I have played the carnival game and have the set. Here are my thoughts. While the disc are smaller than what the carnival used, everything is in the correct proportions as the carnival game. It does not matter the size of the set, the discs are always in the correct proportion to the red spot.It plays the same as the carnival game. The set is made of washable plastic and will last a long time. The DVD shows you the correct placement of the discs and how to proceed if you make an error in placement. All the secrets are mentioned. And yes, practice is needed. This portable set was intended for magicians. I do agree, however, the price of this set can be lower though. Carnival size sets are around $70.
