Northern California Bouldering (Supertopo)
B**.
Full-color, easy to read maps
Pages are in full-color with detailed maps and includes pictures of some of the more popular problems in their respective climbing areas. I would highly recommend this book, especially if the inconsistency of Mountain Project is as irritating for me as it is for you. The descriptions for some of these problems can be pretty scant. But the fact that the maps are so easy to read and so many boulders have been photographed more than make up for this deficiency.

Useful enough guide
It’s helped me locate local boulders. Sometimes the directions on how to find them are a bit sketchy but in general I’ve learned a lot about what’s in my area

Good overview of Bouldering in the region
My interest in this guidebook was mainly to get an overview of the best bouldering areas in the region, and not so much a detailed list of routes and grades. This book has been adequate for this and has led me to a few places that I otherwise might have missed on my travels through the region. This book does offer grades and a good list of routes for the areas, if that's what your interested in.

Find your summit
Excellent book. There are many areas I never would have found without this book. My weekends are forever changed for the better.

Ok but not great
Ok climbing book. Use as a very generalGuide for areas around nor cal. For areas like Tahoe the Tahoe guides are much more comprehensive and better. I think the book contains to few topos and often has routes unlisted in areas.
