Not bad at all.
I bought this computer speaker primarily because of its low profile. I was not expecting it to compete with my Bose Bluetooth speaker in terms of sound quality because of the lower price. Despite the lack of bass, sound quality is quite good for my intended use for it (light gaming, video conferencing & watching streaming videos). I was expecting some level of audio distortions at peak volume but to my surprise, it was able to hold on its own.

May be great for a laptop but I'm not in love with it for my PC
Between the floor fan and wall AC unit, this speaker is not quite loud enough for me, in my setting. The cord is only 3 ft long. With my tower's placement I can only get the speaker about 30 inches from my head. Since it is NOT a powered speaker, volume is limited. It's sound quality is good enough for what it is. I usually am on YouTube or occasionally stream other stuff on my PC.

It ain't for the sound quality...
But I finally found a speaker that fits under my monitor that I can actually hear! If any of you have ACER monitors, you'll understand my pain. ACER, in their infinite wisdom, decided to put onboard HDMI audio in their gaming monitors, that only plays at about 5db, regardless of how nice a set of speakers you plug into it. And most of the mini soundbars out there are USB powered, but take input from an RCA jack. But not this little guy; he's a fully self-contained USB speaker setup. It sounds maybe about as good as a mid-range laptop. Nothing to write home about. But if all you want is sound coming from a small area, you can't beat it.

Great for MacBook Pro with blown speakers. While it lasted.
Our MacBook Pro has bad speakers, because the graphics card gets hot playing most games. It is the duel graphics card laptop pretty good for gaming sucks for heat that killed the speakers. ( replacement speakers require the entire laptop to be disassembled ) Anyway all we wanted was a easy to use speaker bar that sounded ok for it. This unit is plug and play all you need to do is choose it from the sound menu. It is NOT for people who want to blast iTunes. If you want to web chat or listen to youtube videos even playing games it seems fine. The clamp is not going to squeeze the screen, it is fixed width so I used a soft piece of one sided foam placed on the inside rear part of the mounting clip to hold it gently on the screen. Works for us.Lasted just over a month. The wire broke internally. A better idea for this product would be a replaceable wire. One that plugs into the speaker and laptop since the wire is a very weak link.

NOT LOUD at all, probably worse than your laptop speakers.
My laptop speakers broke so I picked this up. It's a suitable replacement for laptop speakers but NOT and improvement. The clip mount WILL be too thick for your laptop unless it was made 15 years ago or you have some GIANT bezels like a low-tier xps maybe, even then it rests on top, not really grabbing the screen bezel (or in my case actual screen) at all. The rubber stand is OK if you have the desk space or standing vertically, and don't care about stereo sound. It's SUPER easy to get working, plug and play, if not maybe you have to click your mouse twice in the right menu (audio sources from l.clicking your volume icon.So with it being impossible to actually get on my laptop, i've clipped it to my bed over my head when i watch my laptop at night, so the sound can be REAL low but clear and sounding like the sound stage is right around me since it's right over my head in that position.I'd recommend higher wattage speakers who want anything other than very quiet sound. You can still find them without an AC adapter, bc they just draw more amps through the usb port. This is ok for being the cheapest one on amazon that I came across at least. All metal construction wasn't necessary but feels nice in the hand, with they'd spent more on drivers or a slightly bigger amp but I guess it's a pro if you're constantly throwing it in a bag and carrying it to different places a lot.

Mediocre at Best
Shorts have developed in the USB side and line into the speaker. I've had this speaker for several years, but used only occasionally. For the small investment, there are still better speakers on the market. No volume buttons and using speaker volume on my laptop is inconvenient. Just ordered:ABRRU USB Computer Speakers, PC Speakers for Desktop, Laptop Speakers with Crystal Clear Sound, Loud Volume, Volume Control and Mute ButtonIf I remember, I'll update on difference in sound quality -- I'm expecting a big difference as the speakers are much more substantial for about the same price, with volume/mute buttons on the speaker.

Perfect for work from home.
I needed a speaker that was better than the internal laptop speaker but didn't take up much space. This is perfect. I was able to clip it to a shelf off to the side of my monitor and I use it every day for zoom/webex/teams meetings. It's clear and loud enough for that. I do not use it for music so I can't say how well it would be for that.

Perfect as replacement speakers
Had to find a replacement for my laptop speakers because they blew out somehow and this worked out perfectly. This speaker is loud enough and you can just place it behind. Your laptop doesn't necessarily have to be on it or off to the side and it works great through the USB port. I recommend this item if you need replacements for your laptop speakers.
