Excellent product
I converted a 6x12 cargo trailer into a stealth RV. I built a compartment with a door in front and a hinged seat above the location for the port-potty. This plate secures the porta-potty from sliding around or rattling about. It works perfectly and is a cinch to install.

Cargo trailer use
OUTSTANDING! Screws to floor in my "frugal toy hauler" that I'm building from a cargo trailer to hold Thetford potty in place. Can push back of plate all the way against the wall and still remove potty. Great design and easy to install and use.

Works perfect
You definitely need this if you are using ports pot on boat! This item seems to sell out fast, so if need one order it now! Works perfect with the Thetford toilet. Wish they were sold as a single unit as I said getting the floor mount took weeks longer than getting the toilet.

Absolutely Essential
If you need to mount the Thetford porta potti to a floor (and I wonder why you would not want to), then this is essential. It screws into the floor or some base. the potti then latches in and unlatches with an easy pull. I used this base in my DIY conversion van. There is almost no other way to secure a Thedford porta potti without this base.

Good product but very over priced
Easy installation, appears to provide a stable base. Product is very overpriced given materials used to produce it.

a must buy option
installs easy with the 4 screws provided. Did exactly what I expected it to do. It holds the curve toilet in place but makes it also easy to remove for waste disposal. The plate is plastic, so it does not hold the toilet solid to the floor like a real toilet, but does a good enough job.

This plate holds down the loo on my boat superbly whatever the conditions and I have put it in my work van for the same reason. (speed bumps, potholes etc.)
