Incomplete - it was shipped without one of the adjustable metal hangers, which defeats the purpose of buying a ceiling box with a metal bar hanger.

I ended up returning this product. Product Description was not Clear that this item can only be used in New Construction or in Scenario where you have access to Framing. It need to be nailed to Joist. If you are looking for something to Install Fan or Light as Remodeling Project and Need to install it in place when nailing/screwing it to Joist is not accessible then you won't be able to use it. There is a different kind of Ceiling Box for that.

This item came in a HUGE box with probably 24 of those air filled puff plastic things, and was missing the other half of the bar unit. The other piece that slides outward to mount to the ceiling joists

Installed this a few years ago to support an outdoor ceiling mounted porch light. The plastic became brittle over time and the light fixture mounting holes failed. Fortunately the twisted wire nuts kept the fixture from crashing to the floor.

After installing. Difficult to get a secure light mounted to it

My kitchen $350 kitchen table chandelier, which weighs well under the 50lb weigh limit for this box, came crashing down with no warning after 12 years. The blue plastic had gotten brittle and cracked.
