Big Book Of Colours

This is my 4 year old's favorite book. I ordered this one as a replacement when his first one was broken. I didn't realize it was coming from another country so the spelling is colour instead of color which isn't a big deal. It arrived earlier than expected but was slightly damaged.

This book is so visually stimulating, I absolutely love it. I actually get excited when this is the book that my 18 month old brings me to read with him. I look at many of books that are suppose to be for his age group, and have to wonder how publishers expect parents to get their kids interested in books when there is nothing in them to grab their attention ... This book easily grabs even the shortest of attention spans, and then kickstarts their wild little imaginations. It gets even better though, because it isn't just a picture book, it's also packed full of imformation about colors that will take your child years to learn and comprehend. Your child will absorb new information from this book as their development progresses, and they will still probably get something out of it when they are 10 years old.Overall great book for children of any age! I really can't imagine anyone regretting the purchase of this book!

Cool spinning color wheel that my toddler loves, pages for different colors (except that black/white/gray are spread among 2 pages and pink and red only get 1 page each while other colors get 2 pages....), a cool plastic page that changes the color of things on 2 pages.....which is a bit fragile in that it gets crinkled with a 15-month old grabbing it, but provides a lot of entertainment. I would recommend this book to a friend.

Amazing! It's an Usbourne! I've gotten finger trail books for my grandbabies,I love reading to them! Its definitely a very detailed book. These are awesome!!

Wonderfully illustrated, this book is already a hit with our toddler grandson. And, it's a book that he'll continue to learn new things from for quite some time!

My son loves this book! It’s a great tool to teach colors and expand his vocabulary.

Good book for 18 months to 5 years

Book is very visually appealing with nice illustrations and moving elements. However as a physics educator I was disappointed to find that there are at least two bits of incorrect information in here. (I only gave it a cursory glance as it's currently too advanced for my toddler and has been consigned to the shelf until he gets a bit older). Green, not yellow, is the brightest colour, and the three primary colours of pigment are magenta, yellow and blue, not red, yellow and blue as was taught many years ago. This really should have been checked by an editor.

Not sure how to rate this book. Love the book and all its contents so would like to give it 5 stars but I had to get 2 replacements as they were arriving with the spine torn. I've just noticed that the book which arrived last and in one piece has already started to tear at the spine again. Shame as it really is a great book

The illustrations in this book are really cute although I seem to like it more than my 11 month old babies. It does have a colour wheel in it which got ripped in like 30 seconds. I love it and would recommend it for maybe slightly older babies, I think it would be cool for getting them to find the pictures. It also has different shades of colours in it which I thought was good for teaching them different words.

My daughter (2 years old) fell in love with this book the moment she landed her eyes on it. I love the artwork!

Brilliant book, wish the pages were a little thicker but I’ll just be extra careful while leaving my 2 year old twins with it.
